I love Twinbrook. No, really. I love it....it totally saved the game *TS3* for me. But....it has some issues. Like....

Do I have to buy the Red Rendevous to put another bar upstairs? Or do I live in it once I buy it? And will the bar downstairs still work if I do?

Can I take out the rabbit holes in Twinbrook, and replace them with skycrapers from Bridgeport? *creating more bars/venues....my swamp rats are having fits*

Has the ENTIRE town turned zombie/vampire?? Any way to turn them all back to simnormal?

Any help appreciated.

No. If you select the Red Rendezvous in Edit Town, you can make whatever changes you want without buying the property. You can live in it if you want, but you will need to keep it as a community lot if you want the bar to function as a public resource, and you'll have no privacy in your upstairs apartment. A small apartment can be handy for those sims who need a "rendezvous" spot for their dalliances off the home lot. Again, don't be surprised when other sims beat you to the bed.

Yes, although I doubt the pre-existing lots are big enough to hold the Bridgeport lots (although I've never tried, so give it a shot). You can place new lots using the world editor if you have to. This http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=471164 may come in handy for the odd lot size placement.

Twallan's SP can help control the vampire population when starting a new game, although you won't be able to revert any existing vamps in a current game back to normal with it (I think).

Edit: What Matrix54 said, a lot more to the point than my run on post

For the many vamps you could change the active family and take them to the Science Building to get it reversed...I think...I've never done it before.

If you place a professional bar at the Red Rendevous a mixologist will arrive after a while and serve it, but it will only sell one or two regular drinks and no food :(. If, on the other hand, you change the lot type into something else like Watering Hole or Dive Bar, the barista will serve more drinks but you'd be subject to the opening times of a bar, so no second residence then. Personally I thought that it wasn't worth it and prefer it as a hangout that is available 24/7. You could place a food register from World Adventures, though, if you want some staff working there, and use the upstairs area as either a gambling room or a jam session place. The disadvantage of arcade machines or shuffling boards in a place without closing times is, however, that Sims will use these endlessly until they either pass out from exhaustion, pee themselves or die of hunger.

...You could place them in the sun and that should take care of those pesky vamps!

Wouldn't selecting them with MasterController and using the Advanced change traits route to remove the hidden vampire trait work? I've never tried it, just curious.

MC is how I got my sims to turn INTO vamps, so I'm sure it probably works the other way around, too..

Click on the vampire sim, go to Intermediate in Master Controller, click Occult, and you'll see that next to Vampire there'll be 'has'. Click on None, then the tick icon and the sim will return to normal. Other sims will have the being hunted moodlet when they are around them for a while, but it should go away eventually.
