Sims 2 Won't Open (Apartment Life)

OK So as I inserted the disk now as click game icon then I click Play-now I get a no disk inserted message it says please insert disk so please help

Personally when I get something like that the first thing I try is opening the tray, re-seating the disc, and trying again. Because it usually just isn't seated correctly.
