i downloaded this necklace : http://dasha-kirilova-sims3.blogspot.com/2012/04/necklace-dreamcatcher.html

As well as these patterns : http://www.galadrielh.com/sims3-downloads/download-pattern/strick/

And none of them are showing up in-game. I've looked everywhere. They are .sims3pack files and they said they were installed correctly in my launcher.

Any ideas? I am running the Sims 3 with Ambitions and Pets, game is fully updated, and I'm on a Mac.

Yes, they do. I found the patterns, but I still can't seem to find the necklace...

For some reason, the thumbnail is a picture of half a dog wearing a christmas sweater. Maybe that's what's throwing you off?

Possibly...lol. When I looked through the accessories I couldn't find it but maybe I wasn't looking in the right place, like how I happened to find those patterns.

I'll take a look and if I can't find it...well, idk. Lol

It's categorised for young adult and adult female, everyday and formal only. And if the custom thumb isn't working, then it'll probably just look like a chain necklace, since the pendant is too far down to show in the default thumbnail. If you still can't find it, try installing it as a .package file, or ask the creator. :)

well i searched through all of the accessories and i couldn't find it, as a young adult female in everyday. i only have one other necklace downloaded that i installed as a .package file and it works. the creator only has a .sims3pack file for download, is there a way that i can change the filetype myself? and i posted on the creator's page and it works in everybody elses game; she said i should try updating my game. as far as i know my game is completely updated...

Yup, the sims3pack multi-installer by Delphy. I use it on everything except lots and worlds. :)

Most of Delphy's tools work under Mono, though it's not guaranteed that the multi-pack installer does. Alternatively, you could use Echo's Unpacker at the bottom of this page (http://www.simprograms.com/the-sims/the-sims-3/the-sims-3-programs/programs-the-sims-3-package-editors/).

I installed Echo's unpacker and it seemed to work. I'll check it in game as well and let you know if it works :3

Thank you for all of your help by the way!!!! :giggler:
