Story progression

Is there a mod that allows story progression but will disable it in the houses I play? I hate when I switch households and then I go back to one and there's a baby and they've switched their level 8 careers and everything's a mess, but I don't want to disable story progression cause I like seeing the town and the families grow.

It's only doing it's job to manage non-player controlled house holds.
But to try answer your question, check into the settings for it, not sure if there is any to disable it for specific households only though.
