Let me start off by declaring I have removed all my CC. All of it. Not a single package idling around in that packages folder. Sims3packs have been deleted and uninstalled excluding lots, as well.
But funny story, when I load my game.. There're a few items that seem to want to hang around, objects in particular. I've cleared the cache and whatnots, I've even gone into my DCbackup.
Why won't they go away? They're like unwelcome guests at a party; they just don't get it.

Edit: So I scoured the objects and such further and I realized something.. At some point, these were all sims3packs. So I then began my quest through the sims 3 folder, checking out all I could to find these mystery items and terminate them. But no matter what, they forever remain and nowhere I search for help has an answer to this baffling issue or even anything like it. Seriously wat do.

I'm having the exact same problem! Only it's the opposite - none of my cc will show up unless it's a "store" item that isn't even from the store! I'm starting to think that there's a glitch going on...

@eclipseaurhos:
Worlds, sims and lots are stored in diffrent folders, so they are removed when uninstalling sims3packs but what i have understood stuff that are put in the .dbc/ebc-files aren't really removed, they're just disabled, so if anything use them i belive they still can.
So to completly remove everything you have to delete the files in DCCache, you can try move the files to another location and see if the issue is gone, if it is then you know that the problem is there.
Files in DCBackup only purpose is to add stuff to sims3pack when using installed cc on sims/lots and exporting as sims3pack, so if you never plan to share/upload stuff all files there can be removed, except for ccmerged.package that file holds info from installed premium store items, like skills & moddlets.

I actually did go into DCCache and remove what was there, but it seems to have made no change.
