Bump Map doesn't work :-(

Hi all,
I tried to test the bump with the Bump tester posted here but it doesn't work :( I also tried to edit the 2 files and does same :( (I dont get any error or application crash, I just can't see that bump stuff on the T-Shirt)

I actually have:

Athlon xp 2.8 32b
1gb RAM
Geforce 4 MX 440 (ye i know it's a sh1t)
Windows 2000 SP4
DirectX 9.0c

:( :( :(

Can i add my bump on my clothings even i can't see on bodyshop?
(PS: if someone can link me the plugin download I will try)

I had problems seeing the bump map, for ages. Well I didn't even know it existed. Then I downloaded something, a patch (maybe it was graphics I don't remember now) and it started working.

There is a slight possibility that your graphics card can't do bump maps. But that is a rarity.

I too had the GeForce4 MX440 graphics cardin my computer. Unfortuneatley, this card will not show the bump-mapping, as it is not DirectX 9 compliant. I have upgraded to a Radeon 9600 pro and bump-mapping does now show. If you read the Bump-map test thread you will see replies indicating which cards do and do not work.

If you are able to get it to work I'm sure many would be interested in how to do it. I spent many hours searching the web to try and achieve this before coming to the conclusion that it couldn't be done. I hope you have more success. Good luck.

I think i'll have to upgrade my card. Anyway I wait for nVidia answer... Of course if I'll know how to fix it I will tell :-)

i just bought a radeon 9600 xt...everything looks beautiful, honestly i didnt realize how much i was missing with my other crappy card. but i still can't see bump mapping. i wonder very much how to make it work, using that tutorial to enable it did not work. any suggestions would be very much appreciated.
