Hi guys,
Just came to share some Sims 2 stuff that went on today with the only people who would understand my happiness about it. After, Years of playing this game I found out today that you could dummy level a Highrise in Apartment life and still have it operational! I made an apartment building, and I always use to just extend the amount of levels (to about 10) using the highestlevel allowed cheat. But that always made a buttlode of empty apartments and epic loading times. But for some reason I felt adventurous today and use the CFE cheat to stretch the third floor up into the sky. The result is functional apartments on levels 1, 2, 4 and 5. The Sim that gets level 5 will have a Penthouse like a BOSS!!!! :heyhey:
I've tested it out it works awesome. The only draw back is no stairs but my sims use the elevator anyways and if you put windows on that level it will looks odd. I got around this using wall paper so it looks like it has windows on that floor . I used Nummerators No-Cut away walls for the third floor and on some of detailing, so it has the feel of the highrises in sims 3. Thank you sir for your awesomeness. It's not the best looking apartment building I've made, but it still came out pretty Cool. So for all my builders who didn't know you could, now you do. :deal:
