Available Space on my computer:
Used: 169.7GB
Free: 629.3GB

Game Version: 4.9.5.012031

I have Base game, ambitions, and world adventures. There literally should be zero issue with loading the game whatsoever, but sometimes it takes up to two or three hours just to get to the "Select game" screen. Which, in addition to the "WOOPS. We can't tell if this is legit or not" thing, drives me nuts, since it takes 4-5 times for the game to work.

I have 274 CC items. I know people who use thousands with zero problems. Most of which are character hairs/makeups, or modifiers for the faces. A few others are furniture or clothing, but very few. I think I have 1-2 downloaded houses, but they're CC free.

Since I have a mac, I can't use most of the "CC Organizing" programs, the one Mac one confused the hell out of me, and for some reason couldn't figure out where the Sims game was located.

Wtf is the problem here? I really really want to play again, but it's refusing to cooperate. ; ____ ;

I don't know what the problem is, but I'm on a Mac also, and it takes a full half hour to start the game, is very slow when playing, and I have even less CC than you. It was running along pretty well until my sim went on some world adventures. The slowness of the game started when she was in egypt (with her simbot). Going from one lot to another is very slow, I end up pausing the game so it can catch up (filling in the walls, furniture, etc.). I have the base game, ambitions, world adventures, night life, and pets.

Sims 3 - Game Problems
Please go through this FAQ and follow the instructions, doing each step in order and not skipping anything:

Game Help:Sims 3 Game Problem
Most issues with the game can be resolved by following those steps.

Most likely, this is caused by some corrupted or TS2 content you have installed. Although using programs like ProcMon and the Dashboard is the easiest way to figure out which specific files(s) are causing the problem, the old-fashioned method of removing files until it stops, then checking through the last batch of files you removed before it stopped, will work perfectly well - and on any OS. :)
