I'm guessing that the only difference between the U.S. EPs and the U.K. EPs is the spellings of certain words (color versus colour, etc.). Are there any other differences?

Peni Griffin had a problem installing a UK version EP with the US version EPs, i.e. they are incompatible, but that can be adjusted though through some steps.

Actually I have a UK version of Glamour Life Stuff, and I live in the USA. Works fine for me. And I have all EPs.

(Why do I have a UK version? Couldn't find GL in stores around here and the cheapest one shipped from the UK.)

Really? Then what was it with Peni's then?

I've had troubles installing around region codes too, but I have NOT noticed a difference in the spelling from the original versions, which is a total pity (like Windows, Y U NO ENG-UK?!). I want my UK English!

What, are y'all talking about me behind my back? And here I thought my ears were burning 'cause it's hot out...

The problem was that all my existing CAS sims had their names arbitrarily, and inappropriately, changed in the game. I had females named Ian and males named Margaret, and people with family relationships who didn't live in the same household had inconsistent last names. The names were intact in SimPE, though. The solution is to change the language from UK to US English in the regedit files - which was simpler and not nearly as scary as it sounds - and then I was good to go. I've been running off the UK M&G disk since then with no problems.

See I just knew that "Simmers" talk about each other behind our back. What a cruel world it is. In the fact that  we all have "Never" met face to face make it even more so cruel.

I'm pretty sure my disks are mixed too. Back on the exchange (regular American exchange) I know with the first few they registered as being British English without me doing anything special and then at some point that changed to say US English with some later disk/s. Darn it I want a refund on my 'U's! It's colour not color!

It turns out I bought a UK Seasons... And it works great! At the moment, I'm trying to make my old lady into a plantsim.
