Custom Content Won't Install

I'll download something off of the Sims 3 website and I'll go to my launcher and try to install it and the usual window will pop up.. but the bar won't move. I used to just take out my mods folder then replace it after the content installed, but now that won't work. I've just updated my Origin but that didn't seem to fix the problem either. Help?

Are you sure it's a problem with CC generally, or could it just be this one item?
