Game refusing to start

For some reason, my TS2 (and the Body Shop) just won't start. I clicked on the application file, then nothing happens. I checked the process queue in the Task Manager and it's not there. I tried removing ALL my CCs, and it stilll didn't work. I don't think I installed/uninstalled anything new before it suddenly stopped working, so is there a way to solve this problem?

I had this very same problem not long ago! Go to My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\ and delete these 2 files: Accessory.cache and Groups.cache
It worked for me.
