Hello,

I've recently reinstalled the Sims 2 after having it uninstalled for several months and do to several lap top replacements. So it had been a while since I've downloaded Custom Content. To which I've tried to get back to doing with some of my old favorite content. But when I have downloaded it, unzipped it with winRar and put the package files into the right downloads folder. Even turned on the display and turn on custom content. But none of it shows up. None of the content or the mesh files. I posted about this post before in another person's thread. My bad for piggy backing someone else's thread.

I have also restarted the game several times. And was trying some of the installing custom content things. Up to but haven't just quite tried the trick to test if the content can be found else where. But I was curious to know if there is ever anything that can block custom content of any kind from showing up in your game? And does registering your game also ever have anything to do with it?

Registering your game has nothing to do with it, and all the known solutions (and causes) are in the Game Help:Getting Custom Content to Show Up FAQ, which it sounds like you're already following, so keep going with that. :)

Also, thread moved out of the Mac support forum.
