Hello, my name is getting very angry, but thanks for clicking the topic.

Mass Effect is long uninstalled, but I have all the important ME1 saves because I held them all this time for this 'special day.' On import, ME2 is showing me one item only, savegame 0. Nononononono no no! That was the most recent game where Wrex and Kaiden died. Just give me the file two victories back where I saved Wrex, everyone lives, everything Paragon and happy everything.

I'm too stupid to find the other victory options, or some of the saves are bad, or someone designed the import in such a way to ignore earlier victories, trapping me with a Rachnii exterminating, Kaiden intolerant, Krogan murdering Renegade option. Equally important, give me my bald, veteran-looking Shephard, not that default underwear model Shephard. I am screeching Mel Gibson chipmunk puppet date Ellen G. White belfry turd sour cream pissed!

And this on a Saturday!

Any way to salvage the situation? I removed the more recent saves and redid the folder import, but it continues to see only one item, savegame 0. Maybe I missed a button or need to press right or something.

You have to have the latest gave save for the Shepard you want - basically, ME1 saves each Shepard in a separate folder. You need to find the one you want and take the save game from there. Or you could use the Gibbed editor to change the settings of the one you have. Also, I hate to tell you this but I think Savegame 0 will be the first savegame of whatever Shepard you have - that is the one right from the beginning. I can post pics to help if you want me to show you.

Thanks for the clarification. Back then I think I remember that I didn't save the separate folders, just the most recent folder thinking that the other ones were my backups. Anyway, I'm feeling so nitpicky about this that I'm actually going to dig up the disk and play that save one more time to victory conditions that I like. Should probably take 3-4 hours on default difficulty. Maybe I can take that character from level 46 to 60 and get the max level bonus.
