While playing the Sims 3, I noticed a disturbing thing about one of my sims that I've created.

I made two female sims in the same family. The first female sim had the spiky feet problem while the second female sim had no problem whatsoever.

It's really odd though because when I made the same sim (representing as my main character I make her the most), I made her into a bigger family. The rest of the family members are normal but oddly enough she (again) has the spiky feet x_X

Below are the SS I took in the game

Sister Sim whose feet are normal

Problem Sim - no matter which family I create her in, her feet are always spiky. This happened recently, I never had this problem before. Also I've tried changing clothes and shoes for her but still this happens and only to her (coincidence or not?)

Please help!!

I'm not sure what CC is (sorry x_X) but those are just regular shoes provided by Sims 3

Sorry, CC stands for Custom Content.

Could you post your specs (http://www.modthesims.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:System_Specs)? Graphics issues are often related to having a weak computer.

I hope this is done correctly. I read through the link and did my best to follow the instructions.

Though I doubt there is anything wrong with my computer because it's only one character that experiences this spiky feet :(

This always happens every time you make that sim? Is she in your library, or have you just gotten good at sculpting her? And do the spiky feet show up at every age? (You are -sure- that she is the only sim this happens to?)

No, she is not in my library. Rather I would like to say that when creating her I always use the same skin tone, face, hair...etc. However, I don't see that being a problem because other female sims I've made use the same skintone and such (the first sim picture I posted has the same skin tone).

For the age thing, I have tried creating her from a teen (which was my first discovery of this spiky feet). After she had grown up, she didn't have them until suddenly I started up the game again to play. From then on, whenever I start the Sims 3, her feet are spiky yet everyone else has normal feet @_@

I know it must be a huge coincidence...or I keep telling myself but it's only her. I've made many more Sims and even followed her hair style and everything but they came out just fine (feet wise). I've placed Sims 3 shoes on her and results would be spiky feet. I placed custom shoes on her results are spiky feet. AHHH spiky feet madness T~ T!!!

OK, so you should be able to try this with new user files.

Find your Documents/Electronic Arts/ Sims 3 folder and rename it to Sims 3 Backup. Clear the cache. Start a new game. (Give it a little extra time, because it's busy regenerating all the files. ) Make that sim again. Now see if she still has spiky feet.

Additionally, you don't have a good enough graphics card to run the sims 3. You have integrated graphics (http://www.modthesims.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:Onboard_Graphics), which is fine for stuff like surfing the web but can damage your computer if you play the sims 3. You should also read your computer is like a car (http://www.modthesims.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:Your_Computer_is_Like_a_Car).

Regardless of whether or not your problem is caused by your specs, this is something you'll want to keep in mind.

Problem solved o -o

Apparently, it's one of the custom hair (aka the long hair that my Sim usually uses) hahaha. Something so simple as that was causing this problem. But other than that I can run my Sims 3 fine thanks.

And thanks to those who participated in this.
