Ok, so this is the story:
My Sims live in Twinbrook in the Curious house, in fact they are the Curious family. For those that can't remember it's the house on the very top of the map, a dead end road near the Military HQ. Despite this save being in week 71 it's still going quite well, except for one thing: at 7 a.m. the child in the family gets the notification of the schoolbus coming in 1 hour, but it doesn't arrive at 8 a.m. It did so for the first one or two weeks after loading that old save into a fully updated game, the last time I played it was with all EPs up to Generations and since then I've added both Pets and Showtime.
Now the bus to take the kid home does work and so does the carpool for the one astronaut that lives in that house, it comes at 6 a.m. without any problems. All other members are either in a profession or self-employed.
I had cleared the caches several times and did one Reset Everything with MasterController but still, the bus may come on Monday but from Tuesday onwards it fails to arrive.
There's one thing I've noticed, however: instead of the bus what does come at 8 a.m. is the ice cream truck and when I save the game at around 7 and reload that save Overwatch deletes the ice cream truck before it comes to my house and then the schoolbus does arrive :wtf: .
So is it possible that this bloody ice dealer is preventing the bus from coming?
The location is a bit difficult, I know, as it is a dead end road and vehicles will have to park in a beeline, which, I think has also caused initially the maid from making it to my house. I tried ellacharm3d's Twinbrook fix, which adds an intersection in front of the house and makes service vehicles park on the dirt road a bit further off instead. This seems to have solved the issue, too, but I had to uninstall it again as it caused the road textures in the world to disappear on my machine, for whatever reason.
Are there any other things I could try? Is there a mod, for example, that prevents the ice truck from laying siege to my house in the morning?
