Anybody else do this?

Usually when I start my Sims game I would go to the task process window and set my sims game to one processor (I have 8 processors) and set my game priority to "high" instead of "normal" does anyone else find that this tend to make your game run faster and smoother?

Yep! Well, I don't change the processor side (one dual core), but I set priority on highest and Win7 seems to work really well with that.

Yeah...although I wouldn't recommend setting it to real-time..I think that is bad. lol

Actually, I just tried doing that and... it made my game run slower and choppy instead of smoother and faster!

Setting the affinity to only one processor does help, though.
