Basement Stairs

Hi,
I created a house with a basement some time ago and after the family moved in, I realized I forgot to put in stairs to get to the basement. After some searching at that time, I finally found a page that offered me an easy solution that allowed me to place a set of "U" shaped stairs in an alcove in the basement.

Now, I have a similar situation but cannot recall how I did it before nor can I find the page I used to solve the problem last time.

I searched this site extensively but could not find what I was looking for so now I'm asking for help.

How I did it....
I created the basement by using the foundation tool to create a rectangular box, then removed the center leaving one square of foundation around the edge. Then, used modular stairs to obtain the proper depth for the floor so I could build internal walls.

Now if anyone can tell me how to create the "U" shaped stairs in the corner, I would be very greatful.

It is impossible to create U-shaped stairs at the corner without having your walls, or foundation look odd. I need a picture to tell what you can do.

Hmmm...it seems that your stair landings are on the ground. Try increasing the ground where the landing of the stairs are.

The first landing [from house's first storey] is 12 clicks high. The second (where the U-section is forming) is 8. And the third is at 0 (basement's level.

I tried that but can't do it as close to the foundation as shown in my photo and cannot place real walls next to them either.
