View Full Version : EXTREMELY limited sim-to-sim interactions... help?

So I recently installed Showtime to my game, and with that I had to switch where my custom content files were located from the old way, to the new way. After that, my game would not load at all. I discovered that the problem was a type of core mod that I had installed (that I didn't really need), so I removed it. The mod was cmar_XCAS_core.package, if that information helps at all.

After removing the mod, my game now runs again... However, there's something that isn't quite right still happening.

The pie menu has almost no interactions to choose from when you click on another sim. If it's a sim that my sim doesn't know, the only two options are "greet" and "greet rudely" after you greet the sim... all you have are 4 options.

Friendly>> Gife Gift
Mean>> Scare
Romantic>> Give Flowers
Goodbye

That's it. Those are the only choices I have. It doesn't matter what relationship level my sim is at with another sim, either. I still only get those 4 interactions to pick.

I'm completely stumped as to why this is happening. Could it still be a problem with CC I've downloaded, or is this another problem altogether?

I hope I'm at least not the only person this has happened to, haha.

If anyone can help me figure out what's wrong/how to fix it, I will love him or her forever. Thanks so much for taking the time to read this!

Yes - this is a problem with CC, specifically a hack which needs to be updated to match your new patch version. If you've just patched all the way from 1.12 or less up to 1.31, then pretty much all your hacks will need updating - so I would suggest not worrying too much about identifying the specific culprit!

Thank you! I was able to figure out what mod was giving me all the trouble. Now everything works again!
