Hi guys.

I’ve spent a lot of time of google but I did not found anything good.

I need my sims can plant seeds on the terrace, as if it were a garden.

Unfortunately, taking plants with BuyDebug and put them on the terrace with moveObjects is invalid, because it does not satisfy the wish to cultivate.
I already know I can do it at the ground floor, leaving a part of the floor without tiles, but I need to plant seed upstairs.

Is there any mod or some cheat to use? Something like "plant seed everywhere"? I don't know, lol :)

I really like the house where my sim family lives now, but there’s no space for a garden, at all.
Thanks :)

If you leave MoveObjects on in live mode, your sims should be able to plant seeds anywhere, including on floor tiles. However, you may end up with floating plants when you drop walls on a lower floor.

I've tried to plant seeds with moveObjects on live mode, but it does not work.
But this got me thinking that I might plant once a seed a time in the small space I have outside, and then move the plant already grown with moveObjects.
It should work, what do you think?

Yes, moving the seed after you planted it should work.

Yep, moving them should work just fine. I would check first to make sure your sims can access that part of the terrace, if you haven't before. It's odd that you couldn't just plant them there. But then, my game does odd things all the time.

moveObjects works for me, I turned the balcony on my apartment into a garden with it.

Just a little warning.
Having moveobjects on all the time can casue unexepected results like sims & animals going throw floor & ground, it should be safe if one doesn't move sims or animals, though with EA's coding of this game nothing is certain.

My advice: I found that it's better to turn MOO off as soon as you've finished placing the items. And it's wise not to use it to place doors and stairs too close together. I've gotten some strange results with routing by doing that so I stopped.

I mainly use it to place outdoor plants and decor items but using it to place plants on your balcony should be fine as long as you check to make sure sims can route to, from, and around them without problems. Then be sure to turn it off afterwards.
