Poseplayer broke my launcher?

I have been playing the sims 3 fine for awhile now, but as soon as i installed poseplayer in the correct folder..my sims launcher will not open anymore. I deleted the file and tried again and it still did not open. I had to re install everything just to get it to work, but can anyone tell me how to fix this problem?

In which folder did you place it?
Launcher only reads Downloads, DCCache, SavedSims & Library.

I've long since abandoned the launcher. I just open up the TS3W application file in the The Sims 3 > Game > Bin folder, and pasted the icon on the start menu.
