Stopping the Plague of Celebrity

I am sick of this whole 'celebrity plague'. After a while of playing, everyone in my town is a celeb. I don't want the repercussions, I don't want the spam-calls, I don't even want the annoying stars. It seems like I might have to deport all Sims and replace them, but I don't know how to get these people into the job industry.

Where can I find a modification which permanently eradicates this 'star plague'. I cannot seem to find it on mod the Sims and Tammany(I believe that was his name) no longer has his mod available.

Use your awesome powers to help me find the cure to everyone being a celebrity before I am "military evac'd" out of the "quarantine zone" to a city with some sense. :cry:

But, to the very minimum; is there a mod which allows me to not become a celebrity anywhere on the 50 petabytes (estimate) of information known as the internet.

You can use Master Controller + the Cheats Module to set (or remove) Celebrity status

http://nraas.wikispaces.com/MasterController+Cheats+Phase+Seven

Click on the sim and select Nraas>MasterController>Intermediate>Career>Celebrity Level and input in numerical form what level you want, for example 0

Hello. I just wanted to mention that even with master controller, the game automatically makes more celebrities if you have late night installed. I found this out the hard way. After hunting down every celeb and removing their status.

There's an option in Twallan's Story Progression (http://nraas.wikispaces.com/StoryProgression) to disable celebrities. If you don't want to use that, HP's Harder Celebrities (http://www.modthesims.info/d/424239) mod, doesn't disable it completely but the hardest version makes it almost impossible it become a celebrity by accident.

Unfortunately Twallan's Story Progression refuses to work in my game. So I will definitely grab HP's Celebrities Mod.

HP is retired and the mods out of date now. Anything else you can use to get the same effect? I want the possibility if I work for it, but I really don't want my poor sim who lives in a hovel to suddenly become famous.
