I just noticed that sims in other families no longer get pregnant or adopt children.. In earlier versions of the game Morgana Wolff always ended up being pregnant, but not now..
So what happened? Have sims become sterile?

I've noticed that as well. I just figure it's EA's Story Progression that's messed up. I'm thinking of trying Twallan's StoryProgression soon. :)

There was a problem with version 220 of Twallan's SP that inactives didn't have children, but they're breeding like rabbits with the current version (223).

Thanks for the replies.. I used EA's story progression, but now I've installed Twallan's story progression and will check to see if the problem is fixed by this mod.

Agreed. My sims are having babies like it's the end of the world. (But, that's ok with me.)

Okay, I like Twallan's mod.. it makes the city more lively.. but I think there is too much drama happening everyday which makes my laptop pretty heat.. is there any ways to make it happen less? or cut down the lag?

Story-wise you mean? I'd suggest setting all stories (under "General Settings > All Stories") to Blood/Friends and possibly "Personalities", unless of course your Sims have plenty of friends, then I would suggest setting the stories to blood and personalities. OR if you don't want any stories, I'd cut it down to none.

I also belive you can "slow down" SP so it's not so active.
General Options
Adjust Speed
Lets you adjust the cycle speeds of certain managers up and down with one simple option
Default: Default

Not sure what you mean by Story-wise.. I was wondering how you stop these messages that pop up saying a neighbor just moved out or got promoted, etc, because I think these story messages make the game lag..

In Twallan's SP, those pop-ups are stories. When you click on city hall, you can adjust the Story Progression settings for which stories you'd like to see (for all of the stories, "General Options" > All Stories) to your liking.

The story notices don't make the game lag. It is all work that occurs to create the story that causes the lag.
Turning off the stories won't stop that work, the mod simply operates silently in the background instead. :)

I limit mine to blood and romantic.

Or you could try Awesome Story. I use it in my game, and I see a fair amount of pregnancies. But if you have a weaker computer, I wouldn't recommend this, since Awesome Story can be a bit demanding. But if you have a powerful machine, it's a good story driver.
