The Sims 3 Pets

I haven't played The Sims 3 for a long time but, who's found the Unicorn yet?
I sorta went into my game and started camping in it for like 5-7 days.
I did find it in the end but as soon as i befriended it and moved it into my family....It died wtf?

I was like 'WTF? I camped out here for a week missing work and starving just for it to die?! O_O'

What experiences did you go through to have to find it? :3

Oh no :( I'm sorry that happened to you. If it makes you feel any better you made my morning better by making me laugh. I've seen unicorns in my game but I haven't caught one yet. So I guess you did better than me lol.

i am working on this right now....i have found it ...done what i thought was the proper stuff to get it to move in with
my sim....but....it must be stubborn because it won't....

You need to befriend a bunch of other animals before the unicorn will accept your invite to move in (can't remember how many, but there is a hidden wildlife skill associated with it). The typical response to being invited to move in when the unicorn turns you down us something like "Return when you've shown yourself to be a friend to all creatures". So head out, pet some deer and raccoons, then give it another shot.

I don't think that's correct, or if it is, then being nice to deer and raccoons works as well. There is a lot of controversy about what exactly it is, as you will find if you google ;)

MasterController lets you view your hidden skills, so you resolve this by checking the Wildlife Friend skill and see what moves it and what doesn't...

or maybe somebody who's looked at the code will just tell us ;)

Regarding the test to invite a unicorn into your home ?

By EA tuning default, you need at least three pets in your household with "Best Friends" or greater long-term relationship with you.

("Best Friends Forever" is not required, though will count since it is considered higher than "Best Friends")

OR

You need to be at the maximum level of "Wildlife Friend" skill, which is increased by watching wild animals.

The skill may be increased by other interactions as well, the "Watch" one is simply the most obvious.

Yep...someone yesterday mentioned that to me...and as soon as i watched and petted the raccoon enough...
and checked the WL skill with TW's mod....that unicorn was mine!!!.......

and hes isnt supposed to die anytime soon...hes got 377 days....boy id hate to think of
going through all that to get it and have it die...so soon...lol

Yeah I had the friendship stuff but it randomly disappeared i was like 'WTF Where'd you go D:'
Its just my luck that everything in every game I own disappears LOL
