Okay...if this is in the wrong spot then please move it to where it belongs...and I am sorry if it is [in the wrong place].

I have a CAW question. I do not want to create a world/city. What I want to do is take a custom world/city already made/created and add some stuff to it.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanx.

And, again, I apologize if this is not the right spot for this thread.

This (http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=469942) thread tells you step by step how to edit a world, custom, or an EA world.

Depends on what you want to add, but if you're talking about stuff you can't add in-game... you want the information here: http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=469942&highlight=editing+premade+worlds .

Of course, if you're modifying somebody else's world, it's for your own use, right? You'd want the creator's permission to distribute it to anybody else :) (Some world creators really don't want their worlds opened AT ALL, but that is not really something that can be enforced :/ )

If you have questions about the information in that thread, you'd want to ask them in the CAW forum, under the Create menu :) Good luck!

Edit: whoops, beaten by Megshush :)

Thanks to both of ya.
And yes, Srikandi, the creator gave permission to anyone to modify his world, for their own use, of course.. The world is Sandy Key_PE. I can't remember the creator's name, tho. Nice world. I just want to add some high rises to it.
Thanks again.
