View Full Version : custom content and game making 2nd folder

ok. i can't get object custom content to show up in game. i downloaded the sim blender and the sim transformer and they are not showing up. i got a new windows 7 computer. it also keeps making a 2nd ea games folder. with has sims 2 in it but that folder is empty. i tried deleting it,.... to see if that will fix my glitch,... go in game same problem and the a nother ea game folder is made like the one i deleted. i did download default eyes and other eyes to test if that will show up and it does. just objects won't. what is the problem? :help:

That's a "feature" of Windows 7. It creates both a private and public version of the same folder. You can safely ignore the public version.

mootilda i cant get Flabaliki second half wall to show up, i keep trying to download it over and over and it only shows up the half wall which is what i was not wanting i was wanting the second one so i would not have to use constrain ect, messaged him and still nothing :/

Do the test file (Numenor's Outdoor Lantern) show up? If you don't know what that is, then you need to work through the FAQ I linked. And if after reaching the end of the FAQ and then redoing it to try a 2nd time still does not help, then please post in the Sims 2 Help forum, answer the following questions.
Games all patched?
Do you have a combo pack or collection or individual addons?
Be sure to mention you've worked through the above FAQ and the outcome of the test files - ie which files don't show up and which do?
