Sorry if this was posted before...
So the other day I was heading out to the gym and as I walked through the entrance to the front desk, I had to pause for a moment for the ladies at the desk to assist me.
Anyways... I watched as a group of about 7-10 Siimmmsssss.... er I mean people walked in through the front doors of the facility.. took two steps forward, stopped and became glued to the T.V....
Even though it was because the Olympics was on.. I couldnt help but snicker to myself.. how very sim like their behavior was at that moment.
For about 5 mins they literally stopped in their tracks, turned about 180% towards the TV, it created a small and crowded group just steps within main doors.. there they stood blocking the entrance while the watched and chit chatted amongst themselves..... a couple more people entered the building and joined them promptly...
It was all kinds of silly and funny (at least to me) Maybe I've been playing too much sims?? LOL
Any moment like these you've noticed??

That's OK. I keep seeing people on the train and think how I could tweak them in CAS to make them look way better. That's pretty sad.

That's pretty sad. While I don't usually think about tweaking I, too, look at people in the street and try to figure out their slider settings and whether they used custom sliders or not.
And I swear that recently I saw a Montalcino Fandango drive by.

Only the one where I must have something in my queue, so I go upstairs to do whatever it is, and then it drops out of my queue, and I am left at the top of the stairs wondering what I am doing there....

Ephy, yes it happens to me too. I also noticed that I often act as a sim, for example when someone is blocking my way I take the same exact pose - hand on the hip, looking at the ceiling and foot tapping :) That's when you understand that EA's choice of anims was indeed correct, a thought a bit scary lol

Do you also twitch in place when trying to shove the other out of your way, because you both decided to use the same spot of a tremendously wide staircase? :p

The people in the office where I work are as dimwitted as sims. I guarantee that not one of them has the genius trait.

I did once have a scenario when I had to stop and rethink what I was doing when someone looked EXACTLY like either a sim I've made, a combination of sims, or someone else's. Couldn't say which one, but it was UNCANNILY similar! Best part was that they had their hair exactly like an EA/Maxis mesh too (I have a feeling the sim was TS2, but it could have been S3 after all) It was certainly an odd experience!

I have one: There is a hairdresser's next to one of my local supermarkets called Caliente.
Even more strangely, two of the most prominently-featured images in the front window are of a blonde and a redhead next to one another...

I have one. Once, while I was at the library, I saw someone passed by who looked exactly like a sim I've seen in-game. The clothes, hair, and the way they were built even. Kinda creepy, I think I was playing sims way to much at that point.

Walking through a hardware store the other day and was thinking of whic of the various faucets and shower heads would look good in a sim house.

I know this probably happens to other people a lot, but I finally experienced it, yesterday: I was at work when all of a sudden, one guy went up to the window and was like "Hey... it's raining!" Then EVERYONE ELSE (about 6 people) got up to go look out of the same window, as if they'd never seen rain before. xD It was a strange and awesome experience, but I couldn't explain why I was laughing so hard because nobody else plays the game.

This morning I was driving down the road when a lady holding several small branches in front of her stepped out from behind a tree - she looked like she had been conducting a sim-style stakeout.

It was long time ago about an (real) old fridge in my kitchen should have been replaced or not.
I remember I was jokingly said "Just delete that fridge, replaced with a new fridge then done."
My brother responded, "You think this is The Sims?!"
