April 2007: What to do next?

Date Posted: 8th Apr 2007 at 1:32 AM

hi guys

i havent done an entry in a while so i thought i had better create an update to clarify for me (and others, duno who) as to where my position is at present.

Well...umm..currently im still studying but life is getting nowhere.
im 21 soon to be 22 and i have never had a fulltime job.
this troubles me because i want to be a millionaire.
you see my predicament?

the sims is my all time stress relief strategy and the responses i get i seem to be pretty good at it.
here is the first realisation.
if i put half the effort as i do from building sim homes into real life would i have a fulltime job at this present time?
if i persevered a job in the world of architecture, would i do well?
am i lazy?
hmmm the latter is the most probable excuse.

any architects out there? could you steer me in a sensible direction? please

for a change of direction i have a little story

i was approached by a guy in europe who looved kensington apartments. He loved it that much he wanted me to modify it to his requests so he could show various parties and opt to get it build in real life.
thats right a life size version of a meagre little sim house, how awesome would that be
he even offered to fly me over when it was finished...i was speechless

one month on and i have heard nothing since
was i taken for a ride? or was it genuine and he has been a little slack in the communication department?
well what ever the case i will keep you guys posted and if something does eventuate you will be the first to know.

writing this has been cool and will prob write again soon in the same amount of time as it took the last lol

i will be building some new homes soon so keep an eye out

alll the best

Yes i know (rolls eyes)

Date Posted: 23rd Nov 2006 at 11:19 AM

Hi

Yes i know, i never did what i said i would do in my last entry however im determined this time round

I have been addicted to another game for the past few months, yes thats right addicted to another game called World of Warcraft, its a good game but really addictive.

However my addiction was cut short by my mother due to my siblings abusing the internet priviledges in our house so my mother decided to take it away.

It was horrible, no internet for 2 weeks!!! Did i have withdrawals?? BIG time! However the best thing that has come out of this is i have returned to building again on the sims and posting on MTS2 again.

I have realised whilst playing the game that i use particular items all the time and these i thought i would share further down the page.

Im glad to be back online again and yes will accept requests however will only build particular requests so please dont be offended if i dont post your building.

I would like to also say that its good to see so much new quality custom content, it makes mine and every other sim lovers gaming experience a pleasure.

As said before, my fav c/c i use all the time and believe its a must in making a good home, is listed below

Invisible driveway by rgiles
Glass floors (various creators)
Edging or small fences (various creators)
Numenors wall windows A MUST HAVE (and his CEP package of course)
Cupressus by franky/xrax
and of course a good understanding of the cheats
boolprop constrainfloorelevation true/false
boolprop snapobjectstogrid true/false
moveobjects on/off

These are just some of what i use all the time, if u would like to know the particular creators of the c/c, i will post them soon

Thx guys for the welcome back i recieved in my last post
Look forward to more uploads and requests

An introductory induction!

Date Posted: 29th Aug 2006 at 2:50 PM

Hi all be curious, beknown or supporter

I would like to introduce myself, i am Losonogo, how u doin?

I have been a sim lover since the early Sims1 days and have a crazy fetish of building houses with the old platform and especially now with the current being Sims2

I for some reason have always had a fascination with 'the home' and the idea of bricks, colour and living space having such profound influences on the lives of ordinary people. The emotional value people put on there homes is by far more important than the fiscal value and its this point that makes building homes ever more addictive

I typically scourer the request section for homes that catch my eye, mostly those with no responses, and try to recreate the home with similarity and personality. So far so good!

I do occasionally post a personal project, that has been worked on by myself for many hours, for mainly one reason - feedback.
I feel its important to me if people can provide comments on my work so i can grow and improve to help provide those with requests, a superior home.

Part of being a home freak is also providing feedback. I may leave comments which i feel might improve the look, construction and overall effect of the home. When in such time the individual creates a proceeding home, i look forward to there improvements and there excitement.

Lastly but firstly, i would like to congratulate and thankulate all the team here on modthesims2 on creating such a fantastic community platform which we can all enjoy and spend countless hours downloading maxis grade items from talented creators. And a big woohoo to those talented modders, creators and damn good builders who do it for the love of sims.

I will be posting weekly (fingers crossed) on what i plan to do next and what my favourite custom content is amongst other things of course

Happy Simming
