Error: Can't make Sim order drink at bar

I've followed the FAQ and cleared out all cache files and all Custom Content but I my Sim is still unable to have a drink at any of the bars I've tested.

I'm running Sims 3 on Windows XP SP3. I got 3 GB RAM, 167 GB Free Hard-disk Space, Dual core 2.0 GHz CPU, GeForce GT 610 with DDR3 2GB memory. According to Can You Run It? http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/ I fulfil the minimum requirements. However I did see at the Wikia that my card doesn't work with Sims 3?

The game is patched to 1.55 with Late Night, Supernatural and Seasons installed as well as the Luxury & Design stuff pack.

The game does lag some esp. when using the Create A Style tool.

However that is not my question, I just figured it could be good with some background.

The problem I got is that every time my CC Sim attempts to have a drink both he and the mixologist gets teleported away from the bar. I used the ErrorTrap and got a script error. However I do not know what caused it and how to solve it. I cleared out all CC and removed all caches so it can't be a CC related issue.

Error log from ErrorTrap:

-- Correction Logs -- Destroyed Object Found: Sims3.Gameplay.Objects.CookingObjects.SnackVampireJuice Destroyed Object Found: Sims3.Gameplay.Objects.CookingObjects.SnackVampireJuice Destroyed Object Found: Sims3.Gameplay.Objects.CookingObjects.SnackVampireJuice Destroyed Object Found: Sims3.Gameplay.Objects.CookingObjects.SnackVampireJuice Destroyed Object Found: Sims3.Gameplay.Objects.CookingObjects.SnackIceCream Destroyed Object Found: Sims3.Gameplay.Objects.CookingObjects.SnackIceCream Loaded Assemblies: NRaasErrorTrap: Version 83 ScriptCore SimIFace Sims3GameplayObjects Sims3GameplaySystems Sims3Metadata Sims3StoreObjects StoreObjectsTreeOfProsperity System System.Xml UI mscorlib

(When this error occurred my Sim was teleported back to his apartment)

Please help.

After patching, start also new neighbors/town, don't load an old savegame...
and wait for mod's /cc's update

I removed all mods and those I had worked for 1.50 but I still had issues. But I could try your other suggestion and make a new save game. (It's game breaking for me that you need a new save game every time they patch tho!)

Error log (sorry for the random Swedish words but I'm running on Swedish localization)

New Save file solved the problem.

You use "Save as..." and rename it, right?

Having the exact same problem, myself. Hope this fixes easy.

Not a HUGE bug, but an annoying one all the same.

EDIT: A new save file did not fix the problem, sadly.

DOUBLE EDIT: Starting a brand new game from scratch did, though.

I had to do that too. :/

Awe, that sucks! I'm having this problem & I'm sooo sad I have to start a new save game. Do you think doing this will stop the bug for good or will it only be temporary?

I suppose it's too late now, but if a brand new save fixes it, what about selling the old bars and replacing them?
