Sim Modder's Baby Doll not Showing Up

When I enable boolProp and click "Spawn... Sim Modder", no baby doll shows up. I have tried to get Sim Modder working on three different lots, and it hasn't worked once. I've tried it with my custom content installed and uninstalled, so I don't think that any custom content is blocking it. After all this, I downloaded and installed a mod that contained the Sim Modder and made the doll a purchasable item in the Catalog, but it didn't work and the doll won't show up in the Catalog. The mod said it would only work with Nightlife installed, so that may be why the mod didn't work. Even so, I still can't see why my boolProp Sim Modder won't work.
I am running Sims 2 with University and Pets installed, on a Windows XP Home with 2 GB of RAM. I use the Pets disc to run my game.

I think that you need Nightlife to use the Sim Modder at all. Apparently EA didn't bother with removing the option in later expansion packs.

Unfortunately, that is correct. If you're missing any earlier expansion, it will still show those options as if you have that expansion.
However, if you want an alternative, you could download the insimenator if you don't already have it.
You can download it here:

Also, if you don't know what it is or want more info on it, you can find it here:

It is kind of like an extension to boolprop, and it has the kind of options like sim modder, including a whole lot more.

Hm, thanks. I was afraid that that was true. Oh well, I found alternatives anyway. Thanks for replying.
