Can I skip a day?

I'm in a family where I want to age up the daughter to a young adult, but don't want to miss out on her graduating etc, but i'm getting bored of playing the game normaly, I want to spped up her aging.

I remember in the sims 2 there was a cheat 'set hour' to skip a whole day, but I've heard that isn't in TS3.

Is there another way I can do this? My eyes are going funny consantly playing in fast mode!

Thanks in advance!

You can buy the birthday cake and have her have her birthday any time.

I'd do that but i want to get it to like one or two days before she ages up so that i can fulfill her needs/ get her to raduate with an A etc....plus the skipping of whole days at a time would come in handy for other families. thanks though

I don't know of a way to set the clock forward... which doesn't mean there isn't one But if you just want to speed up gameplay... in the sense that the clock goes by faster per sim action... you can use Twallan's Relativity mod to do that.

I don't understand, though, why you don't just get her to an A now, and then age her with the cake... or even just age her now, and if her grade isn't high enough to pick her traits, just let the game pick, and then change em to what you want with a cheat. Yes, that's cheating, but so would skipping a day be, and the result is the same.
