Is it possible to remove speech bubbles?

Hey; I've checked around the forum and I cant seem to find any other posts that have tackled this topic so Im wondering if any one can help me.

I'm trying to find out if there's any way to remove the speech bubbles and symbols that appear above sims' head when they're talking, complaining etc. I saw an online movie series called Strangerhood; You may have seen it, its a series made using the sims2, there's a link in the official sims2 site (http://thesims2.ea.com/getcoolstuff/strangerhood.php); anyway, I'm not sure but I dont think these bubbles etc. appear above the heads of the sims in the show so Im wondering, again, if there is a way to get rid of them.

If anyone has any ideas, I'd really appreciate it
Thanks

Simlogical.com has a no-balloons patch that will get rid of most of them.

Strangerhood is not made in the Sims I don't think.

Strangerhood is made with the Sims 2, but they actually don't use a hack to get rid of speech/thought bubbles, they're just very careful with their filming.

Ruairi, try use "boolprop useEffects false" cheat.

simlogical.com has changed owners and no longer has downloads available only a plug in for simPe which is bad because now the balloon patch won't work since I installed OFB and I loved that patch

it didn't change owners because the plugin is by the former creator's husband. Inge just stopped modding and removed the files without specific warning (but with warning it might be possible) to prevent high bandwith usage towards the end. Her files are hosted by MTS2 founder and admin Delphy at http://delphster.net/inge I think.

Simlogical didn't change owners, Inge just closed down her Sims site. Her hacks can be now downloaded here.

It's in the FAQ section: Movie/Picture Cheats

I have all EPs except Apartment Life. The showHeadlines cheat doesn't work for me. I'll try the patch too

I've been working towards stomping autobubbles, mostly so I can substitute my own. I'll let you know if it ever gets finished.

Oh please do. Right now I'm barely managing by using decorgal's talk hacks
