Cool,
didn't find this until now, but I also made a revised version of the challenge and keep a story blog here Royal Kingdom Challenge http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/491670.page Of Kings and Castles http://ofkingsandcastles.wordpress.com I'd love if you check it out and maybe I can merge in your rules or maybe link here from my TS3 page. What do you think? I'd love to discuss how others play it and other difficulties one may find! |
Oooh, I like the idea of randomized events, I might use that :D
|
I love this challenge, I'm playing it for one of my sims files where they're FINALLY getting out of the stone age / tribal age and are making kingdoms! This is really cool. c:

This looks like so much fun! I'm definitely going to try it! Right now I'm just building a massive castle, so that'll be perfect to use in this challenge!
I was wondering about game settings, though, since I've not played anything similar. With aging on, your other Sims age while you aren't playing them? So you really don't get to play very much with each family each generation, eh? Do you play with Story Progression on? Because I imagine that would cause things to happen that aren't allowed, marriages, careers, etc... |
Wow! I've never seen a challenge so fun and...challenging. This one comes in number 2 for longest challenge thread that I've seen! :D
|
Might try this.

I write about tips and tricks for this challenge, and other problems and stuff in this thread:

Could we make it a monarch and have the kingdom based around the women instead of the men?
