Can you make it through four years of S2C?

The main objective is to get your Sim to senior year and graduate! The other objective is to lead your team to victory!

Progress Report:

This will keep track of who has turned in what. It will be located in my second post of this thread. Please, remember to check to make sure that I’ve linked properly to your Sim. If not, I’ll fix it immediately.

Every year S2C has a yearbook filled with pictures of current students, answers to survey questions, and a lot more goodies. Yearbook pictures are 120x120 against a solid white background and must show your sim from the shoulders up. Your sim can have any facial expression besides anger.

Each round is a school year. Freshman year is round one, sophomore year is round two, etc… Mini-rounds are a daylong. Last cycle if I had the round ready I would go ahead and post it right along with the Mini-round. Mini-rounds are just here so I can get a head start on the yearbook.

I don’t do extensions. Let me repeat this again: I. Don’t. Do. Extensions. If somehow a meteorite is going to hit your city and you need an extension to plan accordingly then please PM me. Do not ask for it in the contest thread.

Drop Outs and Transfer Students:

When a sim is transferred to our rival school, Strangetown High (http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd83/Psy10/Rival.jpg), this means that their G.P.A was not high enough to make it through to the next school year. Your Sim will not be allowed to communicate with students at S2C because you are no longer here. Also, your Sim might be included in the next update if they were involved with a student who still goes to S2C.

Drop Outs are Sims who did not turn in their coursework (i.e. pictures). Also, if you have to drop out do so by PM please.

Since RP is no longer allowed I’ll be giving you guys updates on your Sims after every completed school year. Who’s dating who, who’s got issues, who got a new car for their birthday, who’s dealing with teenage angst, etc… Most of these updates will be completely random and depending on the amount of students, I won’t be able to give everyone a storyline but as we get closer to the end, everyone will be included.

Grade Point Average. We here at S2C grade our students on the A-D scale (there is no such thing as an “F”). Your G.P.A can range from 1.0-4.0. No one can receive higher then 4.0 or lower then 1.0. Grades will be rounded on a weighted scale. Grades will not be rounded up so a student can achieve a 4.0. Anyone with a 4.0 has received straights As from the faculty.

Judges can give you 20 possible points. 15 is strictly on your pictures and the other 5 is on following round directions. A student can receive a maximum of 80 points. Only G.P.As will be posted at the end of each school year. Numerical scores can be requested at any time through PM.

What you’re judged on:

Following round directions
Photo composition
Sims’s personality

What you’re not judged on:

Photoshop abilities
Graphics card
Sim’s beauty

Honours Point Average. This is only awarded to students who want to do the extra bonus (School Spirit) during specific rounds. H.P.A does not help towards your final G.P.A in that school year or during Graduation. It is merely for those who want to take a stab at gaining immunity for the next round.

On the yearbooks for Freshman-Junior year you will notice stars on certain people’s names. These are totally random and do not reflect performance in any given round. These stars indicate the people who will be answering survey questions. Survey questions are usually 3-5 questions. Examples of questions are: Favourite smile? Favourite eyes? Not answering survey questions will result in point deductions under the “following round directions” criteria.

Ahhh… only the best and brightest students have made it this far. Congratulations on making it to graduation! There will be a Valedictorian, Salutatorian and Co-Salutatorian, which translates to First, Second, and Third. These positions will be based on cumulative G.P.A scores from ALL school years.

Official school colours are navy, crimson, and white. Crimson is used mainly in lettering.

The cheerleading outfits for S2C are the blue and white ones while Strangetown High uses the black and red.

You can use Photoshop to sharpen your pics but that’s it. No pose manipulations, non-Sim backgrounds (murals are okay), simmerizing, adding text to images, etc… You can add picture borders but please try not to go over 5px.

Update: Junior Year

Kai looked at his cell phone that was vibrating on the other side of the room on his desk and sighed. He just knew it was Cabra calling to “just talk”. He just wasn’t up for it. He stared at the phone and looked at the clock. It was almost 10PM. Cara had IMed him earlier about a party in Strangetown thrown by the Evil Llamas head cheerleaders. He powered up his laptop and signed onto iChat.
Kai put his iBook to sleep and went to take a quick shower before Cara arrived. His cell phone rang three times before he heard his mother yell that Cara was waiting in the foyer. He put his phone on silence and went downstairs. At the party, Kai saw Rachel and her boyfriend Jay. She smiled and waved at him, he did the same and kept it moving. Around 1AM Cara had left his side and he went upstairs where the Jocks from Strangetown High were playing a game of pool. He sat down at one of the couches and stretched his feet. A girl who he hadn’t seen saw him, smiled and asked if she could sit down. He motioned with his hand his compliance. She asked, more like yelled over the loud music if he had a girlfriend. Kai thought about it for a moment and then said a low yes. “It doesn’t matter if she isn’t here,” she whispered into his ears. Kai shook his head and moved away from the girl but she was persistent. Before he knew what happened she had taken his face into her hands and kissed him. She pulled away and then went back in. Kai wasn’t sure what to do but he felt his body relaxing and allowed her to kiss him. They made out for what seemed like hours. At about 2AM, Cara was calling for him. He pushed the girl away and said he had to go. She whined and pouted her lips to no avail. Kai’s ride wanted to go, so he had to go.
It’s not like they were in the same inner circle although they were all Jocks. Rachel wasn’t sure what to make of Kai kissing some other girl at the party. Was she supposed to tell Cabra? Would she even believe her? Jay said to let it go and that she should mind her own business. Rachel couldn’t shake the feeling that Cabra had a right to know and since she knew, she’d have to be the one to tell her. Her mind was made up. On Monday, she’d tell Cabra in Chemistry class.
Whatever, she thought. Who the heck was Rachel Shine anyway? Why would she believe her over her own boyfriend? Kai promised her that nothing was going on with Cara or anyone else for that matter. He. Promised. Cabra let it go after Kai swore up and down that Rachel had obviously seen someone else and assumed it was him. Cabra could understand that explanation.
Choir Club was a stupid idea. A very stupid idea that Philmore was quitting by the end of the month. His purpose for joining the club had a boyfriend. He resolved that he’d never get Nina.
Joshua who? Nina asked herself looking over at Zach and those dimples. Joshua never existed. The same Joshua who basically ignored her and then moved without even telling her a thing. Oh that Joshua. Yeah, well Nina and Zach are going on 6 months. Zach being the guy that he is actually remembered this and took her out for a picnic. He even gave her a necklace to celebrate their 6-month anniversary.
Elizabeth was over the Philmore and Nina thing. She had gotten a job at the local science museum and one day while working the front desk she met Ryan. Ryan is the son of Mrs. Hunter. Elizabeth was always happier when Ryan was around. He would come by every Tuesday and Saturday to help out. He seemed to like her as well.
Sarah with an h finally had a girlfriend! She’s gorgeous. Dark hair, dark skinned and her name is Eslai. How many people do you know named Eslai and can pull it off? Seeing Eslai gave Sarah an excuse to leave her house. As their relationship became more serious Sarah spent more time with her. Eslai wasn’t out to her mum and dad, which would explain the screams that pierced Sarah’s ears as she and Eslai were making out on her bed. Sarah couldn't get out of there fast enough. The shouting and the screaming was terrifying. She wondered if her family would even care if she told them that she was a lesbian. The long walk to her house didn't help ease Sarah's fear for Eslai and what her parents might say or do. She texted her a comforting message and told her to meet her after school on Wednesday. Wednesday came and Eslai was no where to be found. Sarah texted her and texted her again. Nothing back. For weeks she tried to call Eslai. She even wrote her a letter. Nothing came of it. Summer had arrived and Sarah’s girlfriend still hadn’t returned her calls. She decided to go to her house. It was a stupid thing to do but she had to see her. She noticed that the parent’s cars were gone. She rang the doorbell once. Twice. Three times before going around back and knocking there. She sighed and gave up. As she walking away from the house the front door opened and she saw Eslai standing there. Sarah and Eslai sat down on the bench on the front porch. Sarah tried to hold her hand but she pulled away. That hurt Sarah and Eslai could obviously tell from the look on her face. She explained that her parents were sending her away to an all girls boarding school. Yeah, the irony astounds us too.

Name: Jamie Rose
Age: 14
Classified as: Jock
Activities: Swimming team and the cooking club
I'm fourteen, I have a brother and a sister who both went to s2c HS, and now I'm following the tradition. I'm alot closer to my mother than to my father, becase she doesn't push me in to doing stuff I don't want to do, like trying out for the football team. I don't want to play football, I'm more in to swimming right now. Maybe I'll try out for the team later just to get my dad to shut up.

Name: Danniella Rivers (everyone calls her Danni)
Age: 14
Classified as: Jock
Activities: Cheerleading and swim club
Bio: I live with my mom and baby sister. My mom was kinda horrified when she found out I was an albino, but she's got over it. I'm one of the most popular girls in school but I don't really care. I just like being with my friends.

Awesome apps so far. :) I've updated the first post with the Application deadline.

Age: 14 years old
Classified As: Nerd
After School Activies: Intense Chess Club and the Rubix Cube Club
Bio: I'm fourteen and I live with my mom, dad, and soon to be sibling (my mom's pregnant). My family has a long legacy at Sims 2 Community High School so of course I would never go anywhere else. Being a nerd is hard, I get picked on a lot by the "popular kids," but I love learning so I would never be anything else.

Name: Nina Sparrow
Age: 14
Classification: Nerd
Activities: Drama Club, Concert Choir, and Art Club
Bio: Hi! I'm Nina. I'm so excited to finally be in high school. I can be a bit of a ham sometimes, hence why I'm in Drama Club. I love performing and hanging out with my friends. I'm an only child, so I am used to the spotlight. But not in the traditional sense. I have no desire to be a stupid popular cheerleader. Give me my chance to shine during a heated debate instead.

And that's what I think of jocks... nothing but a bunch of apes.

Hooray! It is open at last. :)

Sara Fergus

Age: 14 Years; Freshman
After School Activities: Photography Club; Student Council Historian; Vegetarian Club

Sara, unfortunately, is often mistaken for a guy. She's eagerly awaiting the day in which her hair grows out and is seen as more of a girl - but not too girly, for she's completely against make-up and designer clothing. $90 for a shirt? Ridiculous! She's never seen why those popular people spend so much time and money on their appearances. Sara's camera means the world to her, and she is constantly photographing nature and animals as a hobby. As Student Council Historian, she also has to keep a photographic record of school activities, which can tend to be pretty lame. But she always manages to show a little school spirit. She also takes pride in her seven-year-long vegetarianism.

Bio: I am the new guy in town, transferred over when my mom decided to pack up and move us after she finalized her divorce from step-dad numero tres. I don’t mind the new locale, my mother made sure I have everything I need, including an indoor ice rink for practice, seeing as how none of the schools in the area seem to offer that as part of the official extra-curriculum. It is my life goal, well, my school goal, anyway, to change that and encourage more kids to take up their ice skates. Yes, I took ballet up until I was 10. No, I do not wear lip gloss, it’s chapstick – gets cold on the ice, you know.

(I tried to encourage him to do something other than the figure skating, but he was being very adamant about it. If you need a jock->nerd switch, I’m more than willing to volunteer this one, he still seems dodgy and borderline to me)

Biography: The name's Elizabeth, but I prefer Liz. I love learning new things and I always strive for perfection. I'm very shy and reserved, but that doesn't stop me from being competitive. I live with my grandparents, because my mom and dad are always traveling. Drawing, painting, and reading tend to keep me huddled in my room, and that seems to worry my grandparents. Probably because I'm their only grandchild. I don't always make friends easily, and very rarely do I meet someone and think 'I'd love to get to know them'. I love art and music with a passion. Nature and beauty are my inspirations. I love to smile and I love to laugh. All in all, I'm a fairly simple girl.

Photography, mainly. Black and white observations of everyday life are my forte - you can normally find them in the school magazine.

My name is Delilah - nothing else, so do not call me anything but Delilah. Got that? I've lived here all of my life but I think that I have a mind that would have prospered somewhere else, somewhere where rambling observations of why and how a penguin waddles would be listened to and opinions would be voiced.

I live in a small flat downtown with my mother, an artist. She's remarkably well known, but not well enough to get us in the penthouse. We deal with life well enough.

... I'm done. Why are you still here?

13th Oct 2007, 4:13 AM

Every year at S2C HS the Freshman Committee (comprised of the Jocks) throw a Freshman Mixer and every year they exclude the Nerdz but this year is different. The Nerdz have grown a backbone. During the middle of the school year, they marched up to the Principal’s office and demanded that they are included in this year’s activity. The Jocks of course won’t have it. So what’s the solution? A carwash!

The Fundraising Committee has decided to use the war between the Jocks and the Nerdz to their advantage. Whoever raises the most money wins the party.

Your students will be judged individually and will be eliminated based on their G.P.A. The winning team will be determined by the total amount of money raised by the end of the round. Each point equals a simolean. So let’s say Nerd #1 gets 18 points and Nerd #2 gets 15 points that’s 33 simoleans towards the Nerdz total.

The students on the winning team will be awarded an extra point during Sophomore year judging.

Task One:

Freshman Carwash

The first picture should be a wide shot of you (clearly visible) washing a car, attending to a customer, or doing something related.
The second picture should be a shot of you having fun with your fellow students at the car wash. Maybe you’re having a water fight, running around, etc…
Your Sim should be surrounded by students in their respective stereotype group.
If you don’t have Nightlife there are plenty of decorative cars to download (25 to be exact) so you should be able to do just fine.
Make sure to take advantage of your student advisor Theresa Daniel’s “Recommended CC List”. You don’t have to use anything on the list, it’s exactly what the name suggests.
This task will result in two pictures.

Task Two:

First Day At School

This is just a picture of you arriving to Sims 2 Community High School for the first time.
Since this task is so simple, please remember to be creative!
This task will result in one picture.

Not following the rules will result in point deductions.
When posting your pictures please put your Sim’s name in the title and the school year. For ex: Jane Smith: Freshman Year.
Follow the rules in the first post in regards to photoshop and what is and is not allowed.

If your student’s name doesn’t have a star this isn’t for you.

Looking at the yearbook pictures who do you feel has the…

Best eyes out of all the girls?
Best smile out of all the guys?

13th Oct 2007, 4:28 AM
I hope this isn't considered triple posting.

Anyway, the updated yearbook will be posted by 4PM tomorrow.

ETA: Well, it seems that I miscounted the final number of students. The Nerdz outrank the Jocks by one extra person. By default the final winner of the car wash (since points equal money) would automatically be the Nerdz and that would be unfair. I'll figure out a way to find a winner. :)

13th Oct 2007, 2:18 PM
You could always put each Nerd's name in a hat, and draw one out and not count that Nerd's points in the final total, I suppose. Might work in later rounds if the Jocks outnumber the Nerds, and vice-versa.

Task One - The Car Wash:

Well, the day of the Car Wash Competition is finally here! Now to teach those jocks a lesson they won't forget!

We've set up shop on a small carpark near where a bunch of us nerds live. One of the guys helped the owner with some PC problems a while back, so we're getting the run of this place for free!

Thanks to a recipe I found on the Internet, involving pumpkin seeds, bicarbonate soda, and various other chemicals we've borrowed from various chemistry sets, we've created the Ultimate Cleaner, guaranteed to leave the cars extra-shiny!

Pity the stuff is so slimy, I fear my hands will never be the same again!

Hey, it's not all work and boredom! During the lunch hour when we were closed, all of us Nerds got together to start a great big Water Balloon War! I'm not doing so well, my hands are still covered in bubbles and Pumpkin Mix. Oh well...

Task Two - First Day:

Well, it's my first day at my new school, and already my Slut Sister has started up with the 'rules' I have to follow. Rules such as 'No speaking to me where anyone can see us', 'Always stay one metre apart at all times', and 'Tell no one about our relationship'. Gahhh...she's already annoying me to the point of strangling her, and we haven't even got to the school entrance yet. Slipping my ipod on, I do my best to ignore 'The Girl Most Likely To Get Pregnant Before She Graduates' trying to act slutty for the cute boy on the steps and to lose myself in the soothing music of Utawarerumono's Opening Theme...

Kodomo no goro no yume wa.
Iroase nai rakugaki de.
Omou mama kaki suberasete.
Egaku mirai he to Tsunagaru...*CLUNK*

...Perhaps I should have paid attention to where I was going instead. Great, now I have a black eye before I've even met the local jocks!

I thought it was a great idea to have a freshman car wash! not only was it a great way to show off my perfectley toned body, but it was a competition! My motto in life is "Winning aint everything, it's the only thing!", so i was going to do whatever it took to ensure the Jocks won!(Who thinks the nerds would have a chance anyway) :)
I had so much fun! I managed to wash a few cars in between posing for heaps of photos :)
Posing At The Freshman Carwash (http://img507.imageshack.us/img507/4351/carwashgs6.jpg)

I was having actually so much fun at the Car Wash! (even though I wasn't really washing many cars !), when i was checking out my new future potential boyfriend, Karma came up behinid me and threw a water ballon at me? I don't know where she got them from! but all I knew was he wasnt going to want to be my boyfriend anymore when my hair was practically sticking to my face and my make up was running towards my chest :(

On my first day at Sims 2 Community High, I was soo nervous! I was so late for class! i had basketball training in the morning, so i didn't get to class until about 10am! That's the problem with Basketball, I don't get much time for anything else :(! but the teacher seemed ok with it and let me take a seat even though i was still in my training gear and had to carry around my training bag ALL day :(

Task 1: Freshman Carwash

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb28/missjanaye89/caewash.jpg (http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb28/missjanaye89/carwash.png)
When they first said we was doing a car wash, i wasn't all that excited. It was okay though even though Tricia Sutton didn't do anything. Everyone was so upset because we were strubbing those cars and she's just sitting back catching a tan i guess. She's such an idiot!!!

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb28/missjanaye89/carwas2.jpg (http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb28/missjanaye89/carwash2.png)
After a couple of hours, everybody decided to take break. Tricia's boyfriend thought it would be funny to catch me off guard and start tickling me. At first i acted like i was mad and upset but i liked it. I mean he's such a cutie pie. Meanwhile my best friend, Shelly decided to go off on Tricia for not helping. That's what she gets.

Task 2: First Day of School
http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb28/missjanaye89/SCH-1.jpg (http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb28/missjanaye89/SCH.png)
I was so nervous on the first day of school. I wasn't going to show it though. My hair was cute, my outfit was just too cute. I looked good. As I was walking toward the steps to enter school i saw my best friend Shelly. I was so happy to see her. There was no way i could walk through those doors by myself. As you can see Jordan Hawk is checking me out which is upsetting his poor girlfriend Tricia Sutton, and I am loving every minute of it. She hates my guts! She wants to be me so bad but it'll never happen. She could never be me.

Best smile out of all the girls? I would have to say Elizabeth McAllister. I really don't know her but she has an adorable smile.

Best eyes out of all the girls? I would say Rachel Shine. They're so cute and innocent.

Best smile out of all the guys? Jamie Rose, He has such a cute smile. Not too cheesy. It's just right.

Best eyes out of all the guys? Kai Korinhoff, They're just so pretty. I could stare into those pretty eyes forever.

Task 1

Turns out washing cars isn’t that difficult. In fact, I settled into a routine pretty quickly. Until this girl from school, Cara, came to “help” me. The sort of help that ended up with soap suds in my eyes most of the time. I never before would have believed that burning blindness could be funny, but I was laughing my head off through most of it.

We took a quick break half way through. Someone’s mom had packed us a nice picnic hamper of sorts. Afterwards we played a little catch while the girls lazed on the grass gossiping and giggling in that weird way that girls have. What's up with that, anyway? Strange creatures, females are.

Task 2

So this was it, my first day of high school. My first day of community high school. Very far cry from the imposing boarding school I attended previously. Whole different type of scary. Like most things in my life, this was a trade off; I could either board with my friends or I could have the home indoor ice rink. Let it not be said my priorities are not in order.

With a bright smile on my face, I square my shoulders and lift my chin. I am especially pleased at my self control in resisting the urge to wipe sweaty palms on my pants. After a quick, silent prayer of thanks to all the experience gained in playing for the masses, I take my first, confident looking steps into my new future.

I am the master of my own destiny and I will not throw up on the front steps, dagnabit!

{{{Task One: Car Wash}}}

The Avid Reader's Club decided to participate in the car wash as a group. We used a space that my uncle owns, and paid for it using the profits from last year's Book Fair. The job required getting down and dirty, but it was worth it. I'd made it up in my mind that the "nerds" won this contest. The long line of cars coming in and leaving helped me ease up, so I wasn't so concerned about how we would do. And it didn't help much that we were only teenagers and couldn't resist getting each other wet. It was like third grade all over again, splitting up into teams, and splashing each other with water. But it was all fun. :)

{{{Task Two: First Day at School}}}

It's funny how after three months of summer vacation, us freshman were now responsible enough to chew gum in school or start walking home without waiting for the buses to leave. Kissing in the hallways didn't seem to bother staff as much as it might have in eighth grade, and school spirit was a large part of everyday life at S2C.

Most things that worried other kids on the first day of school, like the difficulty of their classes, or getting their locker open, didn't bother me. I'm smart, and I know that, but what's a working brain compared to loads of friends, and having people to sit with at lunch? Grandma says I shouldn't change, because I'm naturally shy and being outgoing doesn't come easy for me. But, what else is she supposed to say?
(P.S. And you see how well her advice worked? Look at me. Alone. At. Lunch.)

Task 1: Car Wash
Hard work isn't always fun... (http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z259/D63121/Joshua%20Hemmingway%20for%20contest/JoshuaHemmingwaywashingacarB.jpg)
There's me working really hard at the car wash. I had a lot of fun, but I couldn't see that well. I couldn't wear my glasses in case they got wet, but lucky I could still see a little. Washing a car is hard, and my group worked hard at it, so hopefully we'll win. I really want to go to the dance...I've never been to a school dance before.

We can't help it, we're nerds (http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z259/D63121/Joshua%20Hemmingway%20for%20contest/JoshuaHemmingwaytalkingwithfrien-1.jpg)
That's me and my best friends; Kylie and Max. While we took a break from the hard work we decided on trying to figure out the average on how much money we made per hour. Once we found that, we tried to figure out the average on how much money we made every half hour. It was fun putting math, mental work, into physical work that none of us are that great at.

Task 2: First Day of School
Well this is a great way to start school (http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z259/D63121/Joshua%20Hemmingway%20for%20contest/JoshuaHemmingwayFallingDownB.jpg)
Well, I've heard of the first day of Freshman year being bad...but not this bad. I'm on my way, walking to science class, and I guess I missed my step and fell. I ended up dropping all of my books! Of course, it had to be in front of Jessica, the most popular girl in my grade. She started laughing at me and a teacher blew a whistle to yell at her. Jessica getting yelled at only made it worse, she then went on to tell everyone about what happened and how because of me she has detention. I knew that I wasn't that popular or anything, but I didn't know my social status could drop this low. Of course, at lunch everyone was laughing at me and calling me "Slippers." At least I had math after lunch...

Best smile out of all the girls? Elizabeth McAllister
Best eyes out of all the girls? Rachel Shine...and I think she's really pretty!
Best smile out of all the guys? Philmore Kensington.

Task One: Teh Car Wash of DOOM!
Scrub-a-dub-dub, rubber duck in a tub . . . . (http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/7200/snapshot74169b115420ef1iq7.jpg)

PICTURE CAPTION: I don't even know why I even signed up for this - all it means is that I get wet . . . . T_T. Oh well, if I didn't the jocks would cream us again. Not that I care, or anything . . . .

Yeah, no one wanted to have anything to do with me. Nothing at all. But I don't really care - I thought up a poem while I was scrubbing. Rhythm does help the mind work, you know.

I'm hungry now, though. . . . I wonder if Liz would mind me going to sit with them?

Those intelligent idiots... ARGH! (http://img85.imageshack.us/img85/2060/snapshot74169b113420f0fnj0.jpg)

PICTURE CAPTION: Some of the other "nerdz" got a little too excited about the event - their water-balloon fight injured almost ten innocent bystanders. Including the person who organized the entire fundraiser!

Yes, they got so many other people wet. I was running all over the place bringing people towels and stopping them from developing concussions! Geesh. . . .

Ah, the peace and quiet . . . . (http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/2914/snapshot74169b11d420f96bv2.jpg)

PICTURE CAPTION: Yes, this is me on the first day of school. I always arrive early for - I think - three reasons.

1. I want a good locker.
2. I don't want to be trampled.
3. I like the silence.

That was a good day. =)

It was easy to be myself then, because when everyone starts to arrive I climb back into my shell . . . .

Best smile out of all the girls? Nina Sparrow.
Best eyes out of all the girls? Can I say Nina again?
Best smile out of all the guys? Patrick Summers.
Best eyes out of all the guys? Kai Korinhoff, definately.

It's not okay.

Task One: Freshman Car Wash

The car wash was a great idea. It gave me the opportunity to get to know some of my classmates... and not just the ones that I'd be marching alongside in the band.

While my friend Jayne and I were cleaning one ridiculously dirty Oldsmobile, one of the "Jocks" approached. He walked up and smiled at me.

"Just a tip," he said, "This car belongs to the principal's mother. You need to make sure to get the wheels spic and span before you let her leave."

I nodded my head, grinning like an idiot. I didn't quite know what to say. Just then Jayne glanced up and saw me making an utter fool of myself. She looked him right in the eye and invited him to eat lunch with us in the Quad. Amazingly, he accepted.

So by 1:30 we were all famished. Our student advisor ordered us all pizza and we set ourselves up on the lawn in the quad. When the food arrived, I was shocked to see the hot jock walking over to our blanket.

"Hey guys. Still got room for me?" he asked.

We all nodded and he sat down and ate with us. Jocks aren't as bad as I initially though.

Task Two: First Day At School

I thought my first day of high school would be a life changing event. My first step into becoming a woman. I headed off to school that morning with a skip in my step and a fluttering in my stomach. But it turned out that the fluttering was actually food poisoning from the greasy Chinese my mom had ordered the night before. I spent the entire day running to the bathroom.

Sixth period rolled around and I was in Health class in the east wing of the high school, near the gym. I raised my hand to ask if I could use the hall pass and before the teacher had the chance to say "sure" I grabbed the pass and bolted from the room. I found the closest bathroom, but unfortunately I really should have kept looking.

I walked in and two girls glared at me. I tried walking to the nearest stall, but the one with the black lipstick stopped me. She asked me what I was doing in their restroom. I didn't know what to say. All I could think about was how sick I felt. As she kept reaming me out I could feel the vomit rising in my throat. I raised my hand to my forehead, ready to turn around and run to the closest bathroom I could find. But the girl said, "Where do you think you are going?" I opened my mouth to tell her that I didn't feel good, but instead of words coming out, I threw up on her. Now they call me The Puking Princess.

Task One | Freshman Car Wash

Spilling Bleach on Some Lady's Car. (http://img85.imageshack.us/img85/5179/carwashonezy9.jpg)

Stupid car wash. I hate car washes. Couldn't we have done something much more productive, like... I don't know... Sorting socks?! Car washes are about the stupidest things ever in the history of... Well, stupid things! Especially when you get the bleach and the soap water buckets mixed up and... Well... Okay, so I completely messed up this lady's car. Even though it was really easy to clean up, she made this huge deal out of it! Stupid car wash.

Taking a Picture of Casey and Erin. (http://img85.imageshack.us/img85/7017/carwashtwogf7.jpg)

But at least I got to hang out with my new friends, Casey and Erin. It's funny, they both have names that could be a girl or a boy. The boy is Casey, the girl is Erin. They're dating. I got them mixed up the first day... Boy, was that a mistake. Anyways, at the car wash, they suckered me into taking their picture together. Erin was all kissy, and Casey was all scowl-y. It was pretty funny, actually.

Task Two | First Day of High School

Meeting Casey and Erin on the First Day of School. (http://img521.imageshack.us/img521/3446/firstdayfreshav2.jpg)

Woohoo! High school! Or... Not. You know, high school isn't all that great. I don't see why everyone was so eager to get out of middle school. Now that I think about it, middle school was better. Less pressure about grades and college and stuff. Anyways, I met Casey and Erin on the first day of school. They were just hanging out on the front steps and I sort of said hi and sat with them. It was kind of awkward for a little while, as you can see. Just sort of waiting for someone to talk. But once Erin broke the ice by talking about photography... Well, we were unstoppable chatterboxes!

17th Oct 2007, 7:05 AM

The fund-raiser was a blast! My friends and I really love cars, so
it was really fun spending a whole day doing something related to them.
Plus we got to get up close to a lot of really nice cars that we
could only dream of owning one day.

http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n218/boolPropped/Contests/S2C%20High/wash1thumbnail.jpg (http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n218/boolPropped/Contests/S2C%20High/wash1.jpg)

Washing cars was fun for a while, but we got so tired as the day went
on! So my friends and I decided to take a little break from working and
played a riveting game of hacky-sack after we finished washing and
detailing the Vice Principal's new car.

http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n218/boolPropped/Contests/S2C%20High/wash2thumbnail.jpg (http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n218/boolPropped/Contests/S2C%20High/wash2.jpg)

The first day of school went pretty well for me actually. Even though
I've been classified as a "nerd," I still have my fair share of friends.
Plus, I feel like I have a good amount of confidence that it's able to
carry me through any type of stressful situation... even the first day of school!

Car Wash

Ugh I so wanted to skip this, but no my father pushed me in to it...again. "You can't let your team down son!" he says.Anyways I went, and I got the task to handle the customers. It went well, most of the girls didn't want to wash cars.I even had to help this girl Rachel. Then in the afternoon I saw my fathers red car. He steped out and walked up to me. "Hey son I've brought my car, I thought I'd help out. Have to make sure your team wins. Your brother and sister is here to." he said In a bosting voice. "Thanks dad" I sighed. How embarrassing.

After that I ended up having a real good time.
We had a real good lunch that Sean's mother had packed.
Then I had a water fight with Clark after awhile everyone joindes in.

First Day of School

My fist day of school went well.
I arrived and saw my friend Sean with his camera.
He always had it with him and he is in the photography club. "I'm going to make a scrapbook of our High school years,
so let me take a picture of your first day." he said.

Really nice pictures everyone. GeeWayRocks, can you please empty your PM box. I've been trying to PM you back since yesterday.

Sorry. I thought I'd need an extension, but I'll have my Round 1 up in a minute or so

17th Oct 2007, 4:55 PM
{{TASK 1}}

Carwashes. Ugh. They're so ... boring. Thankfully, my best mate, Christina, said she'd help, thank God. She's good fun to have around even if she is ... well, crazy. Anyway, she did promise, and she did help. A little. I did most of the washing, she mostly spilt water everywhere. Not only crazy, but clumsy. She upset a lot of customers until I forced her to help me clean at least one car.

Fortunately, it closes for lunch, so we got a break. Chris brought some water balloons, and seeing as we were already soaked from a hose with a mind of it's own, we decided to have a water fight. Needless to say, I won. Victory to the albino!

{{TASK 2}}

First day of school. It went well. Anyway, I was with my cousin, who was jabbering on about how popular I would be since I was related to her. Anywa it was cheerleading squad this, in her clique that, school models everything else. It was when she saw me eyeing a cute boy she got angry.
"He's my property. Don't touch him!" Anyway, when he started walking towards us, she put on this really flirty voice.
"Hey, Brandon."
"Er ... hey, Chrissy." He then looked at me! "So.What's your name?" Something tells me this will be an intresting year!

Here I am greeting Mr. Sanders. I've never seen so many cars at one carwash before!
Carter's always trying to get in every picture! Look at him flexing, he's so funny.

It was so much fun when Brad decided to freestyle. He figured it was a good way
to get more tips! He had the whole carwash watching him and rooting him on!

Task 2 -Car Wash 2

Task 3 - First Day at School

Its bit of a dump compared to my last school in Beverly Hills - but it will do for now. Oooo who is that cute boy?!

My scores are in!

The Fundraising Committee has calculated the money from the Jocks and Nerdz car wash. The Nerdz made $429.00 while the Jocks made $431.00. It looks like the Jocks have the Freshman Mixer all to themselves yet again. "Pfft," says Sara Fegus, "we didn't care anyway."

Along with the win, the Jocks will be awarded an extra point during Sophomore year. One point might not sound like a lot but it can be the difference between a 2.9 and a 3.0.

Students moving on to Sophomore Year at S2C-HS are…

Philmore Kensington | 3.9
Kai Korinhoff | 3.5
Nina Sparrow | 3.4
Rachel Shine | 3.3
Elizabeth McAllister | 3.3
Emily Watson | 3.2
Maria Turner | 3.2
Sarah Harris | 3.1
Cabra Lake | 3.0
Joshua Hemmingway | 2.9
Jamie Rose | 2.9
Sara Fergus | 2.5
Delilah Jones | 2.5
Danniella "Dani" Rivers | 2.5

Which means that Lacey Parks is transferring to Strangetown High School (http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd83/Psy10/Rival.jpg) with a 2.5 G.P.A.

If you want to see your numerical scores, just PM me a request.

Side note: I'd like to point out that a lot of you could have gotten higher scores/G.P.A if you had just followed the rules. The most basic one being to put your student's name in the title followed by answering 4 survey questions. So if you're doubting your pictures and wondering why is my G.P.A so low, well there it is.

I need the following from all students who are moving on to Sophomore Year...

A new yearbook picture (http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd83/Psy10/yearbooksample.jpg). Pictures are 120x120 against a solid white background and must show your sim from the shoulders up. Your sim can have any facial expression besides anger.
Remember to post your Sim's name and Sophomore Year in the title of your post. This is the same post that you'll be updating with your Round Two images.
Tell me about what's going on with your student. For example: New hairstyles, what's new on the social front (boyfriend, girlfriend, maybe both  , etc..), what's going on at home (nothing serious and heavy like mum and dad divorcing), crushes on S2C students, etc..
The deadline for the Mini-Round is 11PM EST tonight but even if you don't make it, it doesn't matter. It's just so I can get a head start on the yearbook and update. ;)

oh dear i'm a bit rubbish

20th Oct 2007, 4:41 AM

It’s Homecoming Week. Last year we beat the Evil Cows and the Evil Llamas to the national title and of course we did it again this year. So what’s this upcoming game that everyone is talking about? Definitely, not against Veronaville (who?).

After the car wash war lost, the Nerdz were constantly being heckled by the Jocks. Nearly, a year later and the Jocks were still riding high on their victory. Of course some of the Nerdz just weren’t having it and tried to retaliate but failed miserably. During a Pep Rally one of the Jocks (we think it was Kai) dared the Nerdz to a game of football. The Nerdz looked around at each other and then fell silent. No one spoke up.

“We didn’t think so,” yelled the cheerleaders. Well, that was it. Joshua yelled back, “You’re on!” The rest of the Nerdz had a shocked expression and someone proceeded to hit poor Joshua on the head.

"We play instruments and we take Algebra tests for fun", someone mumbled loud enough for the Nerdz to hear. "Yeah," a few of the Nerdz yelled in agreement with the above but it was misconstrued to mean that they were in. Opps... Well, it was done. The Jocks laughed and high-fived themselves. They knew without a doubt that they were going to win. “Stupid Nerdz.”

Your students will be judged individually and will be eliminated based on their G.P.A. The winning team will be determined by the total score of their respective students.

The students on the winning team will be awarded an extra point during Junior year judging.

Task One:

Jocks versus Nerdz (American) Football Game

The first picture should be a shot of you in your football attire or in the process of getting ready for the big game.
The second picture should be a shot of you and your fellow students (of both stereotypes) playing football. Make sure to have more then a few students in the picture. Having you and two other people on the field is unrealistic and will result in point deductions.
Check out your student adviser Michelle Turner’s “Recommended CC List”. You don’t have to use anything on the list, it’s exactly what the name suggests.
This task will result in two pictures.

Task Two:

Sweet Sweet Victory...

This picture should be a shot of you and your stereotype team celebrating your win. Obviously, we won't officially know who wins until the scores are tallied but for the sake of your ego and self-esteem, you're going to assume that your team won.
This picture can take place in a pizza parlor where the team is celebrating or maybe your dancing on the football field. Remember to be creative!
This task will result in one picture.

Task Three:

School Spirit (Vooooooooo Gerbits!)

Come up with your own original school cheer in English (you can provide a Simlish translation if you want).
Your cheer must be a minimum of 4 lines and no longer then 8 lines.
Along with your cheer, please include an image of you reciting it.
The Nerdz have permission to use an instrument (of your choice) in your picture instead of wearing a cheerleading outfit (since that would be selling out). The Nerdz also have permission to use a band instead of them actually using an instrument or the combination of the aforementioned.
Guys on the Jocks team have permission to use a fellow student who’s a cheerleader in the photo but you must be there doing something alongside her. Look at the original Jocks picture in the first post to see what I mean.
This task is optional and will only count towards your H.P.A.
This task will result in one picture and one original school cheer if done.
The student with the highest score (H.P.A) will gain immunity for Junior year.

Not following the rules will result in point deductions.
When posting your pictures please put your Sim’s name in the title and the school year. For ex: Jane Smith: Freshman Year.
If your student’s name has a star by it you must answer the survey questions.
You can use Photoshop to sharpen your pics but that’s it. No pose manipulations, non-Sim backgrounds (murals are okay), simmerizing, adding text to images, etc… You can add picture borders but do not go over 5px.

If your student’s name doesn’t have a star this isn’t for you.

Looking at the yearbook pictures who do you feel has the…

Best smile out of all the girls?
Best eyes out of all the girls?
Best smile out of all the guys?
Best eyes out of all the guys?
Most school spirit?

Sara Fergus | Sophomore Year

At last, I have defeated the endless jeers of "Go home, Freshman!" and am now advancing to Sophomore Year! Of course, last year didn't go out without some disappointment. I got a terrible grade point average - my parents said if I don't get straight-A's this year, I have to quit photography! I could never quit photography, so this year I'm going to try extremely hard at school, and not accept anything but an A! Even if I have to do hours of extra credit! There's no way I'm saying good bye to this camera!

On a brighter point of view, this summer went great! Of course, half the time my parents were forcing me to re-learn all the Freshman curriculum, but between reading assignments and algebra, I was somehow able to attend a very elite photography summer course. I was one of the youngest there, except for this one girl graduating seventh grade. Apparently she was some sort of photography prodigy. It was tons of fun, and I can't wait to attend next year! Plus my hair grew out a bit, so I look more shaggy-dog than bad-haircut-boy.

I know. This is how I felt. Had Sara did the survey she would have had a 3.2.

Look on the bright side though, you guys still have a lot of time to get a higher G.P.A. :)

Double argh! I just have a question... Is our GPA an average of every year, or can we have a clean slate each new year?

20th Oct 2007, 6:26 AM

Life has been surprisingly this past year. Mother has a new boyfriend and can often be found giggling like a one of the girls from school. I’ve also become very close friends with Cara, to the point where she is seen as my unofficial girl friend by the rest of the school. She is a bit of a free spirit, though, and doesn’t want to be in an actual relationship. So she continues to try and set me up with her friends. She’s also the one responsible for the highlights I’m sporting these days.

I did pretty well in school, but that space cadet Kensington managed to do just a little bit better. Well deserved, probably, but I still do not like silver medals.

Training took a bit of a dive since I had to give up my previous coach when we moved here. Mother refuses to hire a new one, she is still fixated on wanting me to just experience high school as a regular kid. Personally I don’t see being focused on what you want out of life as irregular, but there is just no arguing with her. Females! So weird. Take that dark haired Harris girl, who keeps looking at me funny. Not normal funny, like… weird funny. You know?

Task 1

What was I thinking? Daring the nerds to a friendly game of touch football has got to be one of the most stupid things I have ever done. In my defense, they weren’t supposed to accept! Thankfully I spent a lot of time over the summer hanging out with my friend Deacon and his older brother, playing a little ball, so at least I know enough of the game not to embarrass myself most horribly. Just enough so that I alsoknow this is going to be a blood bath.

Turns out my prediction was not far off. Two of the nerds had to be escorted off the field for injuries and another was accused of biting, though nobody actually saw anything and it turned out as his word against the bitten guy’s. He had tooth marks on his arm, for crying out loud! Still, the school faculty covered for the little nipper.

We won by mile, of course, but all the adrenaline went to the nerds’ heads and this one long haired guy named Sam against had the guts to storm over to our side afterwards and start screaming about foul play and how we only won by cheating. Bad move. Deacon, who only has the most rudimentary control over his temper to start with, snapped and just chewed the guy a new one. Then Sam burst into tears! So embarrassing.

Task 2

Afterwards, when all the drama had died down and we were declared rightfully victorious, we went out for some pizza. Deacon brought his new girlfriend, Jeanette or Janey or some such. Nice enough girl, I suppose, but kind of slow on the uptake. Cara went out of her way to touch on topics that would leave Jeanette/Janey with a blank, dazed expression. I had to pinch myself on the leg under the table to keep from laughing my head off. Cara can be such a cruel cow.

Task 3

After way too much Cola, and I firmly believe caffeine and sugar is a lethal combination, and still riding my adrenaline high buzz, I attempted to write a school cheer for the cheerleaders. Cara helped me to work out some accompanying moves the next day. It’s on that old Banana Boat song’s tune and it goes like this:

Lamas, La-a-mas
The big night come and we wanna kick some butt

We practice all week and we good to go
The big night come and we wanna kick some butt
Move like lightning, we make you look real slow
The big night come and we wanna kick some butt

Come, Mr Whistle Mon, or we gonna punch your lights out
The big night come and we wanna play some ball!

Another year over, a new one just begun. Unlike the song, war amongst the Jocks and the Nerds is not over! Life still sucks in general, although there are differences. I still have to put up with The Slut, especially those stupid cheers she makes now that she's joined the Cheerleading squad. Ugh, it drives my head in sometimes! At least it's a change from the noises that usually come from her room when Mother's out trying to earn more money and one of Brittany's male 'friends' come over.

As for my personal life? It's still rubbish, but there are some good points. The guy on the steps on my first day, Aries, has turned out pretty nice and we get on really well, but he's apparently a little wary of getting into a relationship after his twin sister got pregnant and beaten up by her boyfriend. Unfortunately, the only other people I've been attracted to this year are both Jocks, and while Danniella Rivers always attracts my eyes (it's the silver hair...) she's more than likely straight, and while Kai Korinhoff seems nice and different from all the other Jocks, he sets off my yaoi-fangirl gaydar every time I walk past him.

Task One:

Well, here we are, the big Jocks vs Nerds American Football Game. Ugh, that idiot Joshua! At least I got a chance to punch him one, maybe he'll be less likely to be so stupid in the future...Or at least until the headache goes away.

Until then, we've got to sit in this locker room the Jocks loaned us in our mostly-matching jerseys, swapping ideas about preventing glasses and other items from being broken. I'm lucky though, I have contacts which I use during LARP, so I don't have to worry about not being able to see!

In any case, we're stuck playing this game. Before coming here, I'd barely even heard of the sport, let alone know how to play it. I've been told it's slightly similar to rugby though. At least the jocks understand that we're going to need the help, or so my sister and her band of cheerleaders mockingly put it when we met on the field, so they're prepared to look the other way if we make a mistake and don't follow the rules to the letter. They've also chosen to not wear body armour as 'You'll probably drop from the weight', and 'As if you'll be able to hurt us'...

...Big mistake. Not all nerdy hobbies are non-physical, you know. This will be a snap compared to the LARP Society's re-inactment of the Battle of Helm's Deep! Men, CHARGE!

This is going to be amusing.

Task Two:

Of course, the Jocks all protested that my habits of kicking them in the groin and climbing over them were not in the rules, but they were the ones who underestimated us and told us we could ignore the rules. Tch, they also complained about how fast I could run and still be a Nerd. It's not my fault that you didn't realise that LARP involves lots of running about wearing heavy chainmail and armour? Or that you didn't realise I was one of the Society's best Elven Warriors?

In any case, it's time to party!

Nerds-style of course!

The Jocks can keep their clubbing, cheerleading, and alcohol-related celebrations. There's nothing quite like having a party involving pizza, video game competitions, debates and discussions about books and other subjects, and running around hitting people with latex swords while trying to not trip over the cats!

Task Three:

Ack! Just found out that one of the conditions for the game was that the winning team had to make up one of those stupid school cheers that the cheerleaders always do. Great, not only do I have to put up with all that rubbish from my sister, I have to think one up myself! Apparently it was judges by the other nerds that I was the best for the job, although I have a feeling that Joshua had something to do with his - payback for the bump on his head! Oh well, at least I can do it here in the music room rather than in front of the whole damn school.

It's supposed to be done in a formal dress as well, or so I'm told. Good thing I still have this gown from the LARP Elvish Formal Ball!

Well, here it is. My tribute to the school, done One Winged Angel style! Good thing I learnt most of the Final Fantasy VII music off by heart...

Does it matter if the Uniform consists of just the jerseys, or do you want the full body-armor-thing. I will freely admit now that I have no idea about what American Football is like.

Same with stuff like School cheers. Do they have to be Jock or Nerd-centric, or are they about the whole school itself?

Life's been treating me good. My mum got a boyfriend, so maybe she'll marry him. It woulf do her good to get married, she hasn't had a boyfriend since Dad died. Also: Kara finally learned to walk. I was proud of her, she's a very quick learner for some with Down's. Oh, like my new hair? I let it grow, so it's easier just to tie it out of my face.

Anyway, remember that guy I told you about on the first day? Brandon? Well ... no! He's not my boyfriend. *laughs* We're really good friends though. And, yes, I have a crush. I don't want to say, though, because he doesn't go here. He's a dropout. But he really likes me. Oh! I also discovered I like rock ballads. Especially Amaranth by Nightwish

You can use either one. You can find out more about American football here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_football).

School cheers are about the school.

Sophomore Year Mini Round

Freshman Year certainly was tough, but I managed to shape together a great report card to bring home to my father. I have never seen him so proud of anyone, and it made me feel so loved. "Your mother would have been proud," he whispered to me as a tear glistened in the corner of his eye. I just smiled and nodded my head, knowing that she would have been proud. I'm definitely looking forward to being a Sophomore at S2C High, so that even though I'm still in the "Nerdz" clique, I'll have some younger, smaller nerdz to tease (all in fun though).

There isn't a whole lot going on with me nowadays, other than studying harder this year than last. I have made some really great friends at school, and I have a huge crush on Nina Sparrow. Oh man, did I just say that out loud?! Im so embarrassed. Oh well... she is a nerd too, so it could happen! I'm thinking of signing up for either the Art Club or the Concert Choir this year to try and impress her, but I'm just not that much of an "artsy" guy. Maybe she will be impressed by the 3D Wind Tunnel Model the Sciencenauts will be working on this year. Oh! And I'm up for Presidency of the Sciencenauts this year! No Sophomore has ever been named President; the position is commonly reserved for upperclassmen.

Getting ready for the game was a little nerve-wracking, but I stayed cool for my team. The jocks took over the blue jerseys without so much as a coin-toss, but then again the "Nerdz" dont care as much about how we look. We know that we're gonna kick those jock's butts! Some of the guys from the other team tried to psych us out before the game. I just smiled and showed off my guns.

http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n218/boolPropped/Contests/S2C%20High/Game2thumbnail.jpg (http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n218/boolPropped/Contests/S2C%20High/Game2.jpg)

The game was held in back of the school, since the real football team was using the football field for practice. On the first snap, I lunged towards the ball and started running like crazy! I was so excited that I didn't even realize I had dropped the ball somewhere around the 15 yard line.

http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n218/boolPropped/Contests/S2C%20High/Game1thumbnail.jpg (http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n218/boolPropped/Contests/S2C%20High/Game1.jpg)

We beat those jocks good! It was close, but we certainly gave them a run for their money. The guys and I celebrated our win where we always go - Clay's backyard. I know it's a little lame, but after lighting a bonfire and guzzling down a few beers, anyplace seems cool. And yes, that's Clay warming up his butt...

I can’t believe how fast this year has gone! It seems like just yesterday I stumbled into my first class late from training!
Well freshman year was defiantly one of my best years I have ever had in life!
I made Basketball captain even though I was a freshman and to be honest the seniors didn’t really like it at first that a freshman got captain over some of the players who had been there for 3 years, but after a few games I earned their respect and made some awesome friends. (Especially after my team won the nationals)
I haven’t really changed much over the past year….I am still late for class every morning due to the fact I am training practically twice a day, every day.
There is an area in which I have improved in though! My parents weren’t exactly thrilled though; all they seem to care about is my basketball career to be honest:(!
It took a lot of hard work to get my GPA to 3.0, but they didn’t seem to care! Maybe if I get better this year they will seem pleased!
As for Boys? I don’t really have the time for boyfriends with my busy training schedule, and the balance of homework…but I do think Kai is kind of cute in a way …

After the Carwash Victory, I was on such a high! There is Nothing MORE That I Love Than Winning! So When I Had Another Chance To Beat Someone (Of Course It Is A team Effort Though Rigghttt..?) I Jumped At The Chance. Alot Of The Girls Didnt Want To Play..Said American Football was Too Hard and Rough!? But as For Me...i Couldnt Wait To Play!
I Look So Feirce In This Photo! All The boys Are Smiling..But I Guess You Could Say I Am In The Zone?
Lining Up To Begin The Game (http://img521.imageshack.us/img521/9174/25349300op0.jpg)

I Couldn't wait To Start Playing! I was so fired up! As soon as i had the chance I ran at one of the less fortunete (sp) players of the nerdz team! I mean what where they all thinking anyway? In Camoflauged Shirts? Apparently there theory was that they would camoflauged into the grass and sneak away! Fat Chance! (Note all the bruises and scratches of the other nerd players faces and the tears...LOSERS)
Tackling The Nerd! Go Me! (http://img138.imageshack.us/img138/5370/27248710vv3.jpg)

After the Game, all the jock team came back to my house for a few quiet drinks and a chance to get a photo each with our brand new sparkly trophy from the game we had just thrashed the nerdz at!...My parents were away so it was perfect...until a few other people found out about my "drinks" and it slowly turned into a MASSIVE Roaring Party!
Drinks? Party? I Really Don't Know..All I Know Is ..LOOK AT THAT TROPHY! Winners!! (http://img85.imageshack.us/img85/4939/86795237sf6.jpg)

Mini Task
I Was so Nervous for the cheer I had to do! I had hardly any time due to the fact my coach wouldn't let me cheer as much as i would like! He said "Cheerleaders arn't Athletes Cabra". Sometimes I Just Wish I Could Drop This Basketball Thing and Have A normal Life but of Course Dad would Kill me!
Even My Room is Basketball Themed! I looked So out Of Place in this Cheerleading Outfit In A Bright orange Basketball Themed Bedroom:( Look at My Pom Poms They Aint Even The Right Colour! I Am Sure EVeryone Is going to Laugh at me!
People Are Going To Laugh At Me! (http://img86.imageshack.us/img86/1465/13440054mq6.jpg)

Psy10... You have already warned the contestants that if they dont read/follow the directions, they will receive appropriate point deductions. So you can feel free to disregard questions easily answered in your directions; there is nothing wrong with that.
Contestants... Please read through round instructions thoroughly before asking questions. If the host directs you to read through the directions again, please do so and use what you've read to answer your own question.

Round 2 entries are looking great so far. I cant wait to see what everyone else has in store this round :)

Have I already been in High School for one year? 3 more year's until college!
Life is pretty good right now, my mom had her baby. And life as an older sibling is nice. I think I make a good big brother to my new sister.
Hopefully, this year I'll get a girlfriend. I really, really, really like Rachel Shine...but I doubt anything would happen. She's popular and I'm not. And she has a boyfriend already. Oh well....eventually I'll find someone that will love me back. Hopefully someone that won't care that I'm a nerd or anything.
Also, I only got a 2.9 GPA last year...so much for being a nerd. My parents were extrememly mad about that. They keep saying "you're not going to get into Hopkins with a GPA of 2.9." So I'm deffinatly going to need to get that grade up.
But things are deffinatly going to get better this year....I just know it.

Round 2: Sohomore Year
Task 1:
^There's me working out to prepare for the game. Since I was the one who sugested that we do the game, which everyone hates me for, I figured that I should probably prepare for it. I stayed on the treadmil for a long time, but I didn't realize that all that working out would really hurt the next day. But I felt pretty prepared for the game.
http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z259/D63121/Joshua%20Hemmingway%20for%20contest/JHfootballA.jpg (http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z259/D63121/Joshua%20Hemmingway%20for%20contest/JHfootball.jpg)
^That's during the game. It's sort of hard to tell, but that's me being tackled. So much for flag football...Most of the game was the Jocks beating us up. But once I got the hang of football and made better plays, I acutally had a lot of fun!

Task 2:
^There we are celebrating our win! We played really hard so we were extremely hungry after the game! I don't think I've ever eaten so much! Although, in between bites of food I got to tell my favorite math joke. I mean, I just had a day of being physical and playing football, I needed to nerd it up a bit. Want to hear the joke? I know you do! Why don't Sin and CoSin ever need to go to the beach?.....Because when every they're together they always get a Tan! Hahahaha...I love that Joke....Anyways, celebrating the win was almost as much fun as playing the game.

(Sorry each picture is presented in a different way, photobucket just wasn't cooperating. If I need to change it, I will)

23rd Oct 2007, 3:57 AM

Well... sophomore year. After taking possibly the worst school picture I have ever had, the junior girls still insist on calling me the Puking Princess. So my high school experience thus far has been far from what I've seen in basically every teen movie ever. I haven't found the love of my life. My best guy friend hasn't fallen head over heels for me. A popular girl hasn't taken me under her wing and made me the next "it" girl. No, my life has been full of homework, having my parents harass me about "making new friends" and "joining the volleyball team," and sitting in my friend Dexter's basement with our friends watching the guys get Halo 3 induced rage from too much video game violence and Mountain Dew. I'm hoping sophomore year takes a turn for the better, but so far it's shaping up to be SSDD.

Task One: Jocks versus Nerdz Football Game

So, thanks to Joshua Hemingway, we have to play this stupid flag football game against the Jocks. Things weren't looking good because for our preparation, most of my fellow Nerds just wanted to sit around and talk strategy. I knew that wasn't going to work, so I decided we needed to get in shape and actually be able to run down the field without having to use our inhalers or stumbling over our own feet. So I organized a daily run around the school. Both nerds and jocks alike have been participating. We get there fairly early each morning and run four laps around the building. It ends up being nearly two miles, and I'm proud to say I can do it without stopping for a break. Perhaps the game won't go as badly as I initially thought?

We played amazingly well. It could have been since the field was wet and the jock were slipping and sliding everywhere. I'm not sure how we nerds managed to keep our balance. But as Jayne scored the winning touchdown, our hearts burst with glee. We won! We defeated the jocks!!!

Task Two: Sweet Sweet Victory...

To celebrate like a true nerd, what else could we do but have a Star wars marathon at my house?

Task Three: School Spirit (Vooooooooo Gerbits!)

The square root of 64 might be 8
But don't walk round thinking you're so great
Cause when the S2C Llamas come to your door
You best be assured, your jaws are gonna hit the floor

Go Llamas!!!

Well, I’m back. I have good news and bad news. The bad news is that my laptop gave me the grey screen of death again so I’m using a loaner from my Uni and I don’t have Photoshop on it. Which means no yearbook. As far as the survey goes, no one will be able to do it. Good news is that I have the Update. :) You can find it here (http://forums.sims2community.com/showpost.php?p=1034316&postcount=3).

Elizabeth McAllsiter

New glasses this time, but same crooked smile. I can't seem to help it, but that's just the way it is. Freshman year proved not to be too bad, and I'm learning to accept myself more and more. I want that confidence that I see in other people, even some of the nerds who get teased, and it helps to know that I'm about half-way there. I've become president of the Avid Reader's Club, and I'm second chair in the viola section. My 3.3 GPA was unimpressive, but I have no doubt that I can bring it up (there's that confidence I mentioned).

I think I may have a crush on Philmore Kensington, but rumor has it (or my friend Tori's big mouth has it) that he likes Nina Sparrow. A lot. I don't know how to react to that. I think it'd be best not to get involved emotionally before I break my own heart (-1 confidence :x). On a brighter note, the Avid Readers have become close and it's good to know I have a group of friends I can count on.

Task 1

Tori came over to help get me pepped for the big football game. She's so excited and I couldn't help but smile. On the other hand, I'm out of shape, and I know for a fact that my stamina is nonexistant. But what's the harm in having a little fun? I say the nerds are getting sick of being picked on, and we're ready for any challenge.

Football is some kinda game, huh? The rules hardly make sense, and I'm still not sure what a "down" is. I do know that I'm exhausted, and tired, and out of breath...And I might need an inhaler soon. The game was fun, though, and I think towards the end, no one took it so seriously. At least I didn't. It was just a game after all, right?

Task 2

Sweet, sweet victory indeed. It may not look like it, but us nerds, we pack a hard punch (pow!). And tonight, Tori and I invited Ian to hang out, and we're celebrating our win at my favorite pizza shop: Anne's Pizzeria. I love it so much because it's actually a renovated historical site. Anyway, the night was great, and everyone was having a good time.

Task 3

What's that llama battle cry?

Who's gonna beat Strangetown tonight?

What's that llama battle cry?

Yeah Psy10 The Update Really Good :)
Just Finshed My Entry! Took Forever:(

24th Oct 2007, 8:43 AM
Love the update! It gave me a good giggle, so much drama occuring, it's awesome. *smacks Kai for being a jackass*

This is oodles of fun.

24th Oct 2007, 10:11 AM
Great update! It's interesting how the stories all wrap around each other in some way. Of course, Sarah's getting all twitchy now, especially considering I've just spent the last few hours listening to Nightwish myself. :P

24th Oct 2007, 1:58 PM
I actually like Nightwish. I could do without some of the last tracks but their good nonetheless. Thanks for introducing a new group to me. :)

I'm glad you all like the update. It seems that the majority of S2C students are all dealing with relationship stuff. Very 90210.

25th Oct 2007, 2:53 AM
I'm really sorry, but my life has suddenly become extremely busy and I've been forced to cut back on some things. Unfortunately, this includes computer time, so I'll have to drop out.

I'm really sorry, but this contest is awesome! Good luck, everyone!

25th Oct 2007, 3:02 AM
This is not directed solely at Hamsterball. There have been way too many drop-outs in this contest you guys. I understand that real-life sometimes gets too busy for online stuff, but dont enter a contest if you dont think you will have the time. Its unfair to the host and the contestants if too many people drop out.

Commit to participating. If you as a contestant sign on to a contest, you must commit to participating in the contest until either the contest is complete or until you are eliminated. If you MUST drop out, please PM the contest host with a specific reason as to why its imperative for you to leave the contest. In addition, members who are noticed to continually drop out of contests, reason or not, may not be able to participate in future contests. As a contest host, you are urged to bring this problem to the attention of boolPropped to be dealt with accordingly.

25th Oct 2007, 1:47 PM
Round Two has ended. I'm PMing the judges now.

25th Oct 2007, 4:18 PM
Gah, bP, you've made me feel even worse now. :(

I have to drop out, as you may have guessed, but my computer is on it's last legs and I won't be able to get another one for a few months so I'm trying to stay off it and I cannot download anything else or it might just go *kaput*.

This is an AH-MAZING contest, though. Good luck! *weeps as she walks out*

25th Oct 2007, 6:52 PM
My scores are in. Good luck everyone!

25th Oct 2007, 9:28 PM
ooh im so nervous there is not one bad entry good luck everyone

Since the yearbook picture was put up after entries were due, are we still responsible for completing the survey? I noticed that I have a star this round which I didnt have according to the last yearbook picture, and I dont want to lose points (or the other contestants to lose points either) for not completing it.

“Totally unfrigginbelievable,” Kai yelled as the results of the Jocks versus Nerdz football game was announced over the intercom. The Nerdz clapped loudly and high-fived each other!

“I just can’t believe WE won!” Sarah screamed up and down the halls. You’d think that football was the one area where the Jocks would rein supreme. Joshua was obviously floating on air at the announcement. Kai was not happy and inside his brain there was a plan brewing.

Along with the win, the Nerdz will be awarded an extra point during Junior/Senior year judging. Joshua Hemmingway's scores were not included in the final tally.

Students moving on to Junior/Senior Year at S2C-HS are…

Sarah Harris | 3.4
Kai Korinhoff | 3.3 *
Nina Sparrow | 3.3
Philmore Kensington | 3.3
Emily Watson | 3.1 *
Rachel Shine | 3.0 *
Cabra Lake | 3.0 *
Elizabeth McAllister | 3.0
Joshua Hemmingway | 2.4

If you want to see your numerical scores, just PM me a request.

* Indicates students who received an extra point due to the Jocks winning the First Round (car wash).

School Spirit Results

Nina Sparrow | 3.5
Cabra Lake | 3.3
Rachel Shine | 3.6 **
Sarah Harris | 2.9
Kai Korinhoff | 3.6 **
Philmore Kensington | 3.6 **
Elizabeth McAllister | 3.3

** Since I couldn’t give Kai, Rachel and Philmore immunity for Junior Year I’ll give you an extra point in the final judging. :) I hope this is okay with everyone.

I need the following from all students who are moving on to Junior/Senior Year...

TWO new yearbook pictures (http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd83/Psy10/yearbooksample.jpg). Pictures are 120x120 against a solid white background and must show your sim from the shoulders up. Your sim can have any facial expression besides anger.
The Junior and Senior year images should be different. Do not have your student wearing the same clothes, hairstyle, etc… Act as if these two pics were actually taken a year apart.
Remember to post your Sim's name and Junior/Senior Year in the title of your post. This is the same post that you'll be updating with your Final Round images.
Tell me about what's going on with your student. For example: New hairstyles, what's new on the social front (boyfriend, girlfriend, maybe both  , etc..), what's going on at home (nothing serious and heavy like mum and dad divorcing), crushes on S2C students, etc..

26th Oct 2007, 11:59 PM

Due to the amount of dropouts I figured as the principal I could accelerate your students through the S2C-HS programme. :)

Your students will be judged individually and Valedictorian, Salutatorian, and Co-Salutatorian will be based on your cumulative G.P.A.

Task One: Junior Year

Rock ‘n’ Roll Fifties Junior Prom at Flo’s Diner (http://i21.tinypic.com/14j2ecg.jpg)

Background image credit to evoeight.

This picture should be a shot of you at Prom. You can be at one of the booths sitting with your date, dancing, mingling, etc…
Your Sim and their surrounding should reflect the 1950s theme.
Various students (regardless of stereotype) at S2C should also surround your Sim.
Make sure to take advantage of your student advisor Ivan Shapirov’s “Recommended CC List”. You don’t have to use anything on the list, it’s exactly what the name suggests.
This task will result in one picture.

Task Two: Senior Year

You’ve Just Been…Pranked?

The Senior Prank is usually always done by the Jocks but this year the Nerdz are hyped up by their football win and have challenged the Jocks again. Surely, the Nerdz can outsmart a bunch of Jocks.

The first picture should be of you and at least 3 other Sims of your stereotype group setting up the prank.
The second picture should be the result of said prank.
Along with your images, please include a brief explanation of how you set it up, did it, and the results.
Remember to be creative!
This task will result in two pictures and a brief explanation.

Task Three: Graduation

What We’ve All Been Waiting For.

I need one headshot of your student (almost like a yearbook picture but for graduation) against a white background. The image size should be 650x550.
Please, tell me what college or uni you plan on attending after graduation (if at all). Remember to tell me your major as well.
I need one quote from your student. It can be original or taken from someone they admire.
This task will result in one picture.

Not following the rules will result in point deductions.
When posting your pictures please put your Sim’s name in the title and the school year. For ex: Jane Smith: Junior/Senior Year.
All students must answer the survey questions.
You can use Photoshop to sharpen your pics but that’s it. No pose manipulations, non-Sim backgrounds (murals are okay), simmerizing, adding text to images, etc… You can add picture borders but do not go over 5px.

Everyone is going to answer this round’s survey.

Looking at the yearbook pictures who do you feel has the…

Best smile out of all the girls?
Best eyes out of all the girls?
Best smile out of all the guys?
Best eyes out of all the guys?
Most school spirit?

Looking back at the last four years of S2C-HS who do you feel is…

Prom Queen?
Prom King?
Most likely to succeed?
Cutest guy?
Cutest girl?

Junior Year

Well, Junior year is over, and I'm on to 12th grade. I'm not sure what to expect, but I'm hoping for a good year. Junior year was pretty cool: I got my driver's license, although I'm still using my grandpa's car. I applied for a job at a local science museum and was accepted. It's nice to have my own money coming in. I figured Philmore wasn't interested in me after signing up for the choir club to impress Nina, but there are other fish in the sea, right?

Senior Year

Ladies and gentlemen: it's senior year, and I want to have fun! I've managed to survive highschool while bypassing rumors and drama of all sorts. Graduation is just around the corner, so I know I have to step it up if I want to get into the right colleges. As for friends and home-life -- everything's great. I'm fine with being single, and I'm just waiting to see what happens, and my best friend Tori and I are taking on a road-trip before college. My grandma and grandpa moved to a nicer space, and now I have my own room. I have to admit that I'm a bit anxious about starting over as a freshman in college. Of course it'd be more comfortable to stay at S2C, where I know who's who, and the shortcuts to getting to class on time. But isn't life about taking chances? Stepping outside of your comfort zone?

Task 1 - Rock 'n' Roll Fifties Junior Prom at Flo's Diner

Prom was the most amazing school function I'd ever attended, and I have to admit, it was better than the Avid Reader's Book Sale. Tori convinced me that it would be stupid if I didn't invite Ryan, from my job, so of course, I did. It was funny how he'd never come across as a shy guy to me, but I saw his face burning up (and I definitely felt mine turning red, too) when he asked me to dance. And I accepted. The whole night was a blast, and grandma said she'd noticed how I practically floated up to my bedroom.

Task 2 - You've Just Been ... Pranked?

I don't know how or why Tori got this "brilliant" idea to turn the school pool red...but, she did. And she wanted me to help. Knowing me, I declined at first, but then I thought "What the heck? It's senior year, and I can be stupid if I wanna be." Just as long as I don't get caught. Tori's part of the school swimming team, and I work at a science museum. So I made the mixtures, and she got the keys, and we were into the pool room. Ian volunteered to be the look-out and the rest of us poured out the powder as fast as we could. The pool actually started bubbling before we could see any major changes, and it slowly turned red. I warned everyone to be careful of getting it on themselves and told them to take note of the fact that the powdered mixture was a slow reactor to skin. And then we heard voices, and we were out of there so fast, I don't even remember it.

How many jocks does it take to clean out a swimming pool? One. And the team voted it would be Stephanie Lawler, the most annoying, snot-nosed girl you will ever meet. She pretended not to care that she'd have to enter the red pool, and tried to clean out the color as soon as possible. How stupid do you have to be to believe you can clean the color out of a pool? So anyway, she changed back into her dress afterwards, and noticed that her arms and legs were red and smelled absolutely disgusting. The scream she let out was so high, and I couldn't help but laugh. And the best part was when Tori walked in, pretended she didn't know what was happening, and asked, "What kind of freak would do something like this?" And then I just lost it.

Task 3 - What We've All Been Waiting For

Quote: "Success is like playing with a pinata: you swing and miss, you swing and miss, until at last, you score." --Grandma McAllister

Of course tears were shed, and laughs were laughed when we all stood around, in our caps and gowns, reflecting on what a wonderful highschool experience we'd shared. I knew that I wanted to go to The University of Eatonsville, because they had a great Journalism/Communications program, and I was so sure, more sure than I've ever been of anything, that that was what I wanted to spend the rest of my life doing.

well my last few years have gone so quick, but they have all been so much drama. Ill start from the begining, when i got back to school there was a huge drama about one of the nerds having a crush on me, all the jocks were being so mean, and no matter how much i told them not to they wouldnt stop picking on him. Even jay had a go and i didnt think it was like him. I tried to act like i didnt care and shrugged him off, but if i wasnt with jay i would totally have gone out with him even just to show the jocks.(i hate being popular sometimes) I havent seen him for a while hes probably avoiding me not like i blame him,i didnt have long to worry about all that. As someone had started a rumor that im pregnant, soon found out who it was though. It was my supposably best freind, i knew she had changed since i became head cheerleader but i didnt think she would be that awful.Well after that things got better for me, a new girl started and we soon became best buddys. She was so great and helped me so much in planning my outfit for the prom. Ooh yay the prom god it was great, we had so much fun, we had a fifties theme and it was great. Home lifes been ok but not great, people are all exited about moving out but for me it will be no diffrent. My parents are never in anyway. Oh god im getting deep get to the happy stuff, well me and jay are together still and we have no signs of splitting up. I wonder if he'll be my first and last love. Well i better end this or it will become an essay thanks for reading.

me at my prom
look at how dorky jay looks i think he ttok the "50s" theme a little too far with the huge glasses and humongous quiff he still looks cute to me though

prank pt one
the nerds are total losers just because they won one football game there going round school like they own they own the place we soon sorted that though i being head cheerleader and honour student have my own key to the gym so the squad can have practice when they like so when the nerds had got changed for swimming we went into the locker room and stole all there clothes i cant wait to see there faces

prank pt 2 god look at them they started screaming and ran behind some plants god didint they realise there was a window behind them oh dear i guess they did they have just spotted us i dont think they saw our faces well i hope not well actully who cares im gone from this place soon anyway

graduation pic
well im going to meadow park university when i graduate not the best but far from the worst school i think im going to be a teacher i love kids and love to help people so this would be the perfect job for me my parents arnt that happy they think i could do better but id rather be on medium money and happy with a life that rich rich rich and working 24/7

Question (smack me if this has been covered, but I triple checked and did not see it)! Can the graduation pic be with an adult sim to show them growing up and not being the little kids they started out as? Totally cool if not, I am just having the annoying itch to see what Kai looks like as an adult, as he was created a teen.

Junior Year

Junior Year was a blast. The girl who mercilessly made fun of me the previous two years ended up dropping out of school, so I didn't have to deal with her anymore. I finally mustered up the courage to ask a guy out, unfortunately he declined. But as I sulked around broken hearted, I discovered a guy who I had never looked at in a romantic way before - one of my best friends, Zach. So we dated all of junior year. It was nice to finally have somebody.

Senior Year

Senior year has been full of changes. My hair grew out, Zach and I broke up, my best friend Jayne stabbed me in the back, and my life has been a whirlwind. My parents adopted a baby from China, so I've been dealing with not being the center of attention anymore. I'm completely clueless as to what college I want to attend and what I even want to major in. To top it all off, I've discovered something I'm really not good at - driving. I failed my driving exam three times, so I have to wait six months before I can even apply for another permit. With the new baby, I don't get a lot of practice with my parents. I hope the forthcoming months fly by, because I am SO ready to get out of this town and start fresh at some college. Here's hoping I figure out which one!

Task One: Junior Year
Rock ‘n’ Roll Fifties Junior Prom at Flo’s Diner

I thought the Prom was a blast. I was happy to have a theme instead of trying to find the "hottest" formal gown to wear. I was even more relieved when I told my grandma about the theme and she dug some of her old dresses out of the attic. The dress I wore was actually a dress she wore when she was my age!

I spent the night dancing with Zach, but secretly wishing Philmore would ask me for a dance. I don't know what it is, but that guy sure does intrigue me. But alas, I've had my heart broken one too many times. And even though I heard he has a crush on me, I can't risk being laughed at again.

Task Two: Senior Year
You’ve Just Been…Pranked?

We decided that there was no better time to get back at the jocks than during midterms. Those jocks had everything handed to them. The teachers would offer them extra tutoring, complete with "study guides." Those study guides were basically the test questions. It seemed all of the teachers were willing to do this except for Mr. Gershwin, the natural science teacher. He never thought twice about failing a jock if they didn't live up to standards.

My friends Emma and Cody thought it would be fun to let a fake test fall into the hands of a jock. A test that gave them all wrong answers and would expose them as cheats. So one day in the library, Cody was working behind the counter. He called Emma and I over and said just loud enough that Amanda (the head cheerleader) could hear, "Guess what? I got old man Gershwin's midterm from my older brother, Eric. He said that the test is the same every year."

Emma and I played along. We acted opposed to taking the test. We went on and on about how unfair that would be and how we could never accept an "A" that we didn't deserve. Cody finally agreed, and he tossed the fake test in the trash. Now all we had to do was wait.

Midterms came around the next week. We all took the test. It was a hard one. But somehow the jocks seemed to get done mighty quickly.

Three days later came the results...

Every jock in the class failed miserably. Missed all of the same questions. Mr. Gershwin was no idiot. He reprimanded them all for cheating, even though they had done it so poorly. They all we faced with three weeks of detention. We were quite pleased with ourselves, to say the least.

Task Three: Graduation
What We’ve All Been Waiting For.

Well, even after the entire school year I am no more closer to figuring out where I want to go to college and what I want to do. I know, it's shocking. I'm supposed to be a nerd, right? I should be all about going to college and learning until my brain explodes. But I'm not.

I talked it over with my mom, and we both decided that I should get out and live a little to try and figure out my passion. So on June 15th I leave to go to Europe for two months. I'm going to spend the time meeting some new people, trying to learn the language, and hopefully finding myself.

Junior Year

Well Junior year pretty much flew by and it wasnt exatly the best year! I haven't ad much concetration towards basketball and it defitnley showed when it came to play offs! Our Team lost the final and we pratically gave up.
As For Boys? Hmm Kai? Kai Who?
Everything was going ok I guess..I tried to ignore the way he looked at me! It was like he was looking for something or someone else but one day in the cafetira, I Caught him pretty much starring down his Ex-girlfriends top! That was it! I had enough and threw abuse at him along with my food tray! He Just gave me a blank stare and that was us..over!
Boys! arghhh!!
Even Though Kai and I No Longer go out i do sometimes catch myself thinking about him (every ten minutes) and casually starring with envy when he is laughin with other girls! Sometimes our eyes met for an awkward second..but I quickly put my head down and quickly run/walk past! I mean it's all over isnt it?
Then there was the Prom...and it All Changed...
Hair and Home Dont seem important to me when there are bigger things like Kai and Basketball!

Senior Year
http://img508.imageshack.us/img508/7867/project1rk3.jpg (http://imageshack.us)
I can't beleive how much has changed ever since Junior Year. It's amazing what a year can do..But hands down Senior year was the best year of my life! I can still remeber the headlines now in the school newspaper "Lake leads team to victory" and in the city newspaper" Lake changes chokers to champions"! People are amazed that i can recall word by word every single article but it isnt hard when you see them proudly framed abve your bed every night! The win really changed me for many reasons...First the obvious reason! Harvard se;ectors came to "veiw" me in the final, it was alot of pressure but i was able to withstand it and they offered me a full paid scholarship to play havard basketball!
Kai and I are better than ever! He has changed alot! I think the distance is really what we needed and he no longer looks at me wanting something more! The "L" word has even been introudced to our reletionship!
Cara is totally out of the picture (Or So Kai Tells me ...)

Junior Prom
Anna Me and Kyle at The Diner (50's Themed Prom) This Was Pretty Much The Only Time I Wasn't Starring At Kai! It's Good To Have Friends To Take Your Mind Off Troubles
Picture One (http://img530.imageshack.us/img530/7423/picthreely4.jpg)
School prom was a new experiance, i had never been to a dance before due to my intense training schedules!
I decided to go to prom alone as the person i really wanted to go with has rekindled an old flame!( That's what the rumors had been saying anyway!)When i got to the prom, and after a few drinks, I saw Kai standing alone, he flashed me a shy smile and the drinks i had earlier pretty much flew me over! I Dont remeber much of that night! (I think my drinks were spiked) but i do remeber being in Kai's arms all night and him whispering he missed me!

The Prank
How Could the nerds have beaten us at footbal? i mean we had the skills, they only had the brains! Everyone knows skills beat brains all the time! Anyway..I couldn't wait for anoter chance to try beat those nerdz, therefore when the senior prank was introduced as a competition i couldnt wait!
I decided it would be funny to turn the ENTIRE football feild into a farm! i dont know where this stroke of genuis came from but i couldnt wait to see the look on all the teachers faces when they realised their presicious feild was now a barn!
The Jocks snuck into school during the night, everyones cars were filled with hay, chickens, and farming gear...One boy even had a trailer with some cows and horses attached! (All of this was borrowed from a farmer as we promised we we would return it all unharmed!
Setting Up The Prank With A Couple Of The Jocks! It Took A While and It Was FREEZING!! But All the Digging and Temporary Fencing Would Pay Off!
Picture Two (http://img99.imageshack.us/img99/6282/piconeiu6.jpg)

On the last day of High school, we dicided to dress in our overalls to add the farming look, when we returned to school in the morning it was in UTTER chaos! Animals were running everywhere, hay was all over the fields and best of all the teachers were stressing! some where even spotted crying! GREAT! Just how we wanted it!
Farewell S2C High School Students read the Banner attached to a tree and scribbled underneath you could read JOCKS ON TOP!
We Couldnt Stop Laughing at The Teachers Reactions! They All Looked So Depressed and Stressed! It was Awesome! This was sure going to be rembered for years to come!
Picture Three (http://img235.imageshack.us/img235/4736/pictwolx9.jpg)

http://img99.imageshack.us/img99/1360/project3hz6.jpg (http://imageshack.us)
School has just gone WAY to fast for my liking :) But I Look foward to commencing at Havard next year on a full paid basketball scholarship studying sport science!

(Junior Year)

My Junior year was pretty great. It was my second year being the President of the Sciencenauts, and I had a lot of "fans." We built a 3D Wind Tunnel Model, a DNA Strand Model and won first place in the National Science Fair for Aeronautics. I joined the school choir club to try and win over Nina Sparrow, but my tactics failed when she started dating her best friend, Zach. Better luck next year...

(Senior Year)

Being a Senior is totally what it's cracked up to be! All the younger students look up to you, scatter in the hallway and always let you have your pick of lunch tables. Toward the end of the year, I had to help nominate the new President of the Sciencenauts. But I accomplished so much while I was the President that it wasn't that sad giving up my position. I didn't date much through High School, but I have a killer resume!

Prom night was a blast ... from the past! There was a 50's theme, so everyone broke out there grandparents' old clothes (haha). I managed to pull off the worst hairstyle Ive ever seen from the old movies, and Clay even dressed up like "Fonzie." I even got to dance with Nina! What a night... *sigh*

Ever heard of "Ex-Lax"? Well for those of you haven't, its a laxative and makes you... well... need to use the bathroom. REALLY bad. My fellow Sciencenauts and I broke into the Chemistry Lab and whipped up a batch of our special extra-strength Ex-Lax from the extra chemicals and compounds lying around. Hey, it pays to be smart!

Our target was Matt, one of the most popular guys at school. He was a football star and all-around ladies' man. He definitely wasn't the brightest guy in the world, but he was a perfect target because of that!

Well, here I am, a Junior. As you can see, I'm lacking my glasses this year. My sister 'accidentally' broke them, so of course she gets no blame while I get told by our money-hungry mother than she's not willing to spend her hard-earned cash on a new pair while I have a perfectly usable pair of contacts. Only a couple more years until college, only a couple more years until college...

Anyway, my summer was made double-rubbish by the fact that after the Football game, Dani dropped out before I could ask her out. I didn't even get a chance to place that CD of Nightwish songs I burned for her in her locker...

At least after the Football game in which I proved my battle skills, the jocks have been leaving me alone.

Yes! Final year! It's nice being at the top of the school. Even the Nerds get a sort of respects from the younger years. As you can see, still no glasses, and I've gone back to the hairstyle I had in Sophmore Year. The other one, combined with lack of glasses, made me look a bit young.

As for home life, I swear I must think about getting a job as a Psychic. My darling sister has only managed to get herself pregnant! So, of course, I have to put up with her wailing about her weight gain, my mother wailing about how dare some nasty boy 'force' her 'innocent' baby girl to have sex with him, and both of them nagging me to be more supportive. Well, I would be more supportive if I didn't know the fact that my sister has managed to sleep with pretty much the entire football, hockey AND basketball teams at the same time. I wonder which one of them is the father?

In any case, I've started to spend most my free time away from the house. There's a nice tree in the park I like to study in, and it's a perfect place to girl-watch. Maybe this year I'll actually find somebody...

Task One:

I don't believe it, it's finally over! No more preppy jocks, no more annoying teachers, and no more school lunches! Now, I just need to survive this stupid school dance. Why couldn't it be video game-themed, or movie-theme? Instead, I have to spend the night talking to my friends while trying to ignore my sister bawling about how she could couldn't find a 50's dress big enough to fit her swollen pregnant self in, the cheerleaders laughing behind their hands at Bailey and Edwin, a couple of my fellow Nerdz, dancing the Smustle, and trying to not wince at the jocks attempts at playing 50's music.

A couple more hours. I can last that long...

...I hope...

Task Two:

Ahh, I love the smell of pranks in the morning! Especially when the cheerleading squad are involved!

Recently, the school board's gone technology mad, placing these 'Information Points' about the school, all linked up to the network and various other school systems for visitors to use and go 'Oooo' at the flashy lights.

...Of course, in the hands of Bailey, Computer God of S2C, it can be used for all sorts of things. Things such as hacking into the school's fire system and setting off the sprinklers over the Jocks heads...

Of course, we're a little too creative to settle for that! The real fun starts when the Jocks all undo their hair to fix their precious hair-styles and get a good look at it.

Can you say Green Dye Disk in the sprinkers? I know you could!

Task Three:

What do you know, I actually managed to last the full four years without being sent to an asylum or being sent to prison for the murder of my sister and her friends. Even better, I'M LEAVING HOME! It's off to Aberystwyth University for me to study Video Game Design! Who knows, maybe one day I'll work for a company like EA and work on The Humans 3.

"The world is *not* a scary place, it only seems that way because scary people live in it."

Prom Queen - Nina Sparrow. We've already had the Nerds beat the Jocks at Football, about time we had a Nerd Prom Queen!
Prom King - Kai Korinhoff.
Most likely to succeed - Philmore Kensington. He just seems to have the knack and the enthusiasm.
Cutest guy - Kai Korinhoff. Cute, even if my gaydar still reacts.
Cutest girl - Nina Sparrow.

Just a question. For the graduation set of questions, is it including those who dropped out or transferred, or is it just those of us still left in this round?

Only for those who are still around. I should be getting my laptop tomorrow so I'll try to do the yearbook then but looking at the pictures posted now should be enough.

Junior year, the year with the haircut of lameness. Lots of changes occurred, so I figured I’d do a big makeover as well. Luckily it only lasted a month or two. I found a new dedication to my training and my skating was looking better than ever. Winter Olympics 2010, I have my eye on you.

Speaking of having an eye on something, Junior kicked off as a study in pairs. Me dating Cabra, I mean. It was going well, I thought, what with neither of us having to feel guilty about not spending as much time together as most other couples seemed to, because we were both focusing so hard on our training. She seemed to have other ideas and we had this big, horrible and very public fight. I don’t actually remember what exactly was said or what caused her to freak out like that, but I know food was thrown. Being covered in cafeteria gunk, highlight of my year. Not.

I don’t think I’ll ever forget the curious stares in the hallway or the way conversations would suddenly die down when I entered a room. I'm pretty sure everyone thought my ex was on drugs. The thought might have crossed my mind at some point as well. Steroids, perhaps?

Still no car. Am starting to think Mother is taking her revenge on the 9 months of hell called pregnancy by trying to ruin my life. It’s downright embarrassing to still have to catch a lift from Cara. At least things on that front are going well again. There had been a time back in Junior when she seemed to be avoiding me, something about rumors, but she's never told me the full story about that and I doubt she ever will. I hate that she doesn't trust me enough to confide secrets anymore. Come to think of it, the problem started that day in Junior when she showed me her new tattoo, which was just low enough on her chest to be covered by her shirt, but not so low as to require flashing to see. It was an almost indigo sea horse and went well with her tanned skin. Maybe she was looking for disapproval to fuel her rebellious streak instead? I've said it before, I don't get girls; they are a strange, strange sub-species of human.

I’ve taken up yoga. It’s pretty relaxing and I’ve found that my axles seem to come a lot more naturally now that I’ve learned to bend in strange ways. I have also learned to keep my door locked at all times because the last thing you want is a friend walking in during a forward bend when you have your butt in the air. You will not live it down. Ever. Deacon will probably still be telling that story when we return for our 10 year reunion.

As for Cabra, things are currently smooth sailing. I've been making a point of watching her very, very closely, but haven't seen much evidence of substance abuse and the 'roid rage seems to have died down. I'm glad, I quite like her when she's not freaking out. A lot, really. Even if we never dated, I like to think we might have ended up as friends anyway.

Task One – The Prom

So I ended up going stag to the prom, which was both embarrassing as all hell, yet also kind of liberating. Deac’s newest bit of fluff took pity on me and dragged me onto the dance floor soon after we arrived. Thereafter someone always made sure I had a glass of punch in hand and soon everything turned sort of fuzzy. Methinks the punch wasn’t as innocent as it’s watered down pink color advertised.

Then I saw the most breathtaking thing in creation. I wanted it. I needed it. I craved. That bright orange and yellow Jukebox was made to be mine. Well, that’s what I thought at the time, at least. Later I would come to my senses and realize that the Jukebox wouldn’t have gone with any of my things anyway.

Another hazy memory is running into Cabra. I guess we talked things through, cause I’m told we danced a lot and the next day, we were back together.

Task Two – The Prank

You’d have thought the jocks would have let our defeat at the hands of the nerds in that ill fated football game go by now. You’d have been wrong. Deacon in particular had been plotting his revenge ever since and as our senior year is leaned towards the end, he finally cooked up a little getting our own back. The plan was not particularly subtle, but there was no doubt about, the results would stay with the nerds for a while.

The bottom line of the plan was coating the hallway in front of the library in oil or some other slippery substance while study period was in session and when the nerds finally came out, they would need to slide and crawl their way towards their next class. Harmless enough, if you didn’t count the possible injuries from falling and bumping heads. Hah! Nothing is ever that simple with Deacon.

I don’t know where he got the oil from, or if it was even oil, but the stuff reeked. As in the most horrible stench you could ever imagine. Essence of Decomposing Corpse. I nearly lost my lunch too many times to count. We had to be careful to get as little of the stuff as possible on us, but dumbass didn’t think to provide us with plastic coveralls, so we didn’t get off scot-free. I had to burn the clothes from that day.

After the entire floor was covered, we hid behind an archway and waited for the sports to happen. It didn’t take long for the first nerds to pour out of the library. By the time the smell hit them, it was too late for them to backtrack and all they could do was skid helplessly into the lockers, walls and each other. A couple even lost their footing and connected hard with mother earth.

By this time Deacon was laughing so hard he had to try and stifle the sounds against the back of my shoulder. He bit me! I had to elbow him in the stomach to get him to let go.

Turned out essence of decomposing corpse wasn’t far off, that smell of something that had died and been left in the sun for two weeks clung stubbornly to people’s skin and hair for over a week. Everywhere the nerds went, people gagged and scrambled over themselves to get away.

Task Three - Graduation

This is it. I have survived High School, mostly unscarred and with a handful of fantastic friends to make up for any indignities suffered. Those same friends I will have to leave behind soon as I set off towards my next adventure. It seems that leaving everything I know behind and starting fresh every four years was going to be an oft repeating pattern in my life. I had done it before, so I have no doubt that I will get through it again, but saying goodbye is never fun.

As for the future, my spot at Lomonosov Moscow State University has been confirmed. I haven’t been back to Russia since my boarding school days, but I’ll admit to having missed it a lot in the last couple of years. I can’t explain it, there is just something special there.

I’ll be majoring in Philology. When I told Deacon that, he smacked me on the back of the head and told me if I came back acting like a huge nerd he would kick my ass until he succeeds in beating some sense into me. Yes, my friends are caring souls.

My favorite quote? "Toepick!" - Moira Kelly in The Cutting Edge

Prom Queen: I think this is going to be the year of the nerds (again!), so my vote goes to Nina Sparrow
Prom King: Still keeping with the above reasons, Philmore Kensington
Most Likely To Succeed: Cabra Lake
Cutest Guy: Philmore Kensington
Cutest Girl: Cabra Lake

As of right now, I'm having HUGEEEE computer problems. It was running slow, so I decided to run a spyware program... the problem is that my program DELETED a pop-up blocker that I had and now windows keep popping up left and right. I'm going in game right now and will hopefully make it before the deadline.. wish me luck!!

If Kai was fuming over the results of the football game, he would be absolutely enraged to hear that the Nerdz had outpranked the Jocks.

“Couldn’t be,” Cabra whispered to herself as the faculty announced over the intercom system their disappointment with the string of pranks that S2C was dealing with lately.

The Nerdz have added another victory to their belts and with it have added an extra point to their final round score. Elizabeth McAllister’s score was not added to the final tally.

Students attending S2C-HS’s Graduation Ceremony are…

Philmore Kensington | 3.8 ***
Nina Sparrow | 3.8 *
Sarah Harris | 3.7 *
Kai Korinhoff | 3.5 **
Elizabeth McAllister | 3.5 *
Rachel Shine | 3.4 **
Cabra Lake | 3.1

One star (*) indicates that this student was given an extra point due to the Nerdz winning last rounds challenge (football game).

Two stars (**) indicate students that received an extra point due to the School Spirit round.

Three stars (***) indicate that Philmore qualified for all of the above.

If you want to see your numerical scores, please PM me a request. You will be sent the graduation scores as well.

Keep in mind that these are the Final Round results NOT the graduation results.

Senior Yearbook (http://i9.tinypic.com/6382ddu.jpg)

Update: Senior Year

To broaden S2C-HS’s appeal the Board of Education started an exchange student programme. Sarah volunteered to be on the Welcome Committee. 40 students from all over the world were arriving on that Monday morning. At one of the many get togethers Sarah had met Diana an exchange student from France. They hit it off immediately and Sarah knew she was going to ask her out after Diana discussed with fervor the pros of legalising Gay and Lesbian marriage. Sarah knew those two years of French would come in handy.
Rachel glanced every few seconds at the end table where the butler had placed today’s mail. She had seen Meadow University’s letter along with Sim State’s letter and knew that her future was in those envelopes. Either she’d get into college and become a teacher or she’d failed. There was no in-between for Rachel. Either she reached for the goal and made it or she didn’t. Sim State University’s education programme was the best in the nation and that was her first choice. Originally, she had only applied there but Jay had convinced her to have a back up plan. Rachel never did back up plans but she acquiesced anyway and applied to MU. MU had a good education programme but it wasn’t near the prestige of SSU’s. Rachel sat on the couch for what seemed like hours and eyed the end table. The butler had been in to check on her several times but she shooed him away. Jay and Yvette had called but she didn’t answer her cell phone. She just stared at the envelopes. Finally, she got up from the couch and approached the end table. She picked up Sim State’s letter and opened it very carefully. The rejection didn’t hit her at once. Her eyes began to swell and fill with tears, her knees were buckling and her arms began to shake. That letter caused more emotional havoc then the lack of a memorable childhood and abandonment from her parents.
It wasn’t until the middle of Junior year did she come to terms with having to attend Meadow University even if it meant going further away and potentially having to break up with Jay. As long as she remained focus and kept her grades up, she could always transfer to SSU before her junior year.
After the encounter with Rachel in the beginning of Junior year, Cabra had gotten visual confirmation of Kai’s infidelity when she saw him flirting with Kassie Gavin in the lunch room. It was funny to Cabra how breaking up with Kai suddenly made him realise what he had and he became romantic. He would send her flowers but of course that was generic and she wasn’t falling for it. He went out and bought studio time from a local place to record her favourite song and delivered it to her house. He even wrote her letters and slipped them into her locker all throughout the ending of Junior year. She had thought during the summer he would let her go but he didn’t. On the first week of Senior year he had slipped one more note into her locker asking her if they could become friends and that he understood why she would never go out with him again. She agreed.
Losing a best friend and a boyfriend was hard but Nina could do without both of them. Who needs backstabbers and manipulators in their life anyway? As Nina was preparing for the Nerdz versus Jocks Senior prank she saw that Philmore was the president of the Sciencenauts club and had access to Mr. Gershwin’s classroom after hours. She couldn’t believe that he had agreed to help her. On a Friday afternoon after everyone was gone, her and Philmore sneaked into the classroom and got a template of the test. Nina scanned the test sans the correct answers and saved it to her flash drive. Philmore had finally gotten a car from his parents and asked Nina if she wanted a lift. She declined his offer. Philmore looked sad for a bit until she asked him if he wanted to go to the big Senior Prep Rally together. Nina had no idea why she asked him but she did and he said yes.
On the day of the prep rally, Philmore waited by the main gate for Nina. She was smiling as she walked closer to him. He took that to mean something good. They sat at the very top of the bleachers. During the cheerleading routine Philmore casually took Nina’s hand into his own. It was a bold move but this was the last year that Philmore could let Nina know that he liked her and he intended to. They would go out a few times before he would ask her to be his girlfriend and she would say yes. Although, their last year at S2C-HS was fun it all came to an end with the realisation that Philmore was going to attend SSU and Nina hadn’t known what her future plans were.
Elizabeth’s motto this year was stepping out of her comfort zone. She continued to work at the local science museum. Ryan would take her out to lunch on the days that he came to volunteer. One day at lunch she took a deep breathe and asked him out. He looked taken aback but seconds later he smiled and she felt relieved. He said yes and that was how she got her first real boyfriend.

Philmore Kensington | 313 | 3.9
Nina Sparrow | 309 | 3.9
Sarah Harris | 306 | 3.8

Elizabeth McAllister | 294 | 3.7
Rachel Shine | 293 | 3.7
Cabra Lake | 282 | 3.5

How did judging go for the graduation round?

Since I combined Junior/Senior year together I had to add 100 points to everyone’s cumulative numerical scores in order to properly calculate their final G.P.A. So for example Sarah and Kai’s real score is 206. Adding the 100 points doesn’t inflate or take away from anyones actual score. It just makes it easier to get the right G.P.A which basically means that no advantage was given to anyone.

How come some people got extra points?

Because of combining Junior and Senior year most of this seems confusing. During Sophomore year the Nerdz won the football game challenge so they were rewarded with an extra point for the next round. Also, during Sophomore year students had the option of doing the School Spirit task. Three students H.P.A tied so all three were rewarded with an extra point. Philmore is the only student who qualified for both points.

Did the Nerdz get an extra point again?

Yes. The Nerdz won the Prank challenge so their extra point was added to the graduation score not the final round score.

How come Philmore is Valedictorian? Nina has a 3.9 as well.

Philmore’s numerical score is 313 which is 4 points higher then Nina’s.

Congrats dudes! Everyone did an awesome job. I had a great time with this contest. Aww, am gonna miss my boy. He was pretty darn loud the whole time. So much so that I had trouble preparing for my Nanowrimo novel because Kai wanted his own story told. Such an attention whore.

Kai: *shakes fist* Damn you, space cadet Kensington! *gets a white cat and starts plotting world domination*

To all those who made it to the final round, be proud, that's already a huge accomplishment. You were all, as I said, awesome. XD
