So I use the "KBPrimerHDPlusDEFAULTSkinFIXED" with "KBHDSpecularDefaultReplacementFIXED" as the default skin plus "Buhudain_DR_YouAreRealV1.5".

There is a store top that got a fix because it showed up with transparency issues with custom skin. I have downloaded this fix as I have the same issue.

However, another item from the store is affected and I was hoping that maybe there is a fixed version of the flute forward dress as well for young adults/adults/elders.

Do you have s3ce decrappifier? If not here is a thread. https://modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=567536
Run the packs through this then install them
Here's a link that talks about the flute forward dress and how to fix it with that. https://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/344211/flute-forward-dress-fix

Thanks, but The Sims Studio did end up fixing the flute forward dress and remedied the missing leg. I no longer have that issue and, I don't think decrapifying will fix what I am referring to. When I say transparency issues, I mean I can see my Sim nude through the clothing as if the clothing material were see-through.

I'm going to take take an educated guess and say that the issue that plagued the Indian inspired top above has a similar or perhaps same exact issue as the flute forward dress as well. This is what ice-creamforbreakfast says in the link I posted.

"I loved this top when I saw it but when I installed it I realised that when combined with a custom skin, there was a severe case of nipplegate….sooo I altered the alpha to make the inner top opaque and adjusted the colour channels because EA did a rushjob on it and didn’t actually create a colour overlap with the outer top, meaning that the inner was simply a solid stripe across it…I also set them as available for the formal category (and the top for swimwear also) as well as casual."

Can you post a screenshot of how the Flute Forward dress looks on your sims? Because I converted it for teens (https://sweetdevil-sims.tumblr.com/post/176152606408/3-store-dresses-for-teens-i-keep-finding-cute) and never noticed transparency issues (I did nothing to the textures and the sim in the previews has a custom skin on).

Edit: if you mean that you're seeing the skin texture overlaid on top of the dress mesh, then that is a case of the links to the texture getting messed up between the sims3pack-to-package conversion process. Running the sims3pack through the Recompressor, then converting to package, should get rid of this issue.

@sweetdevil That's weird, it's just working normally now. Maybe I just needed to delete my cache files though I've been deleting those often recently or perhaps when I installed your teen version it somehow fixed it. I uninstalled it to see if that was the case but it still looks as it's supposed to now so maybe. Or maybe the recent deleting of some cc caused some sort of glitch with the dress. I have no idea how it got fixed but I am glad and hopefully it stays like that. The teen version of the flute forward is amazing. I appreciate your conversion contributions.

I think that's the right explanation you described, it was like the skin texture overlaying the flute forward dress but in a way where it made the dress look dark and see-through.
