Housewarming
Back to: Still sick Next: Not so lonely
Happy to see people are still reading I've had some serious issues with the game ie: crashing, not opening at all. It took me a full day following a tut to rectify the problem but before that i thought it may have been the lot so i moved them out and built a new one..anyway...fingers crossed it's all fixed and back to normal...also i forgot to change camera settings so the pics for this chapter will be smaller than usual...sorry

We found our house to be too much to look after so we moved, yet again, into a smaller, more comfortable house. Smaller than the last house but bigger than our previous houses. This one is just right and it’s on a large lot so there’s room to extend if we need to.

So anyway I was determined to have my housewarming party so I called up some friends and neighbours and we fired up the BBQ.
I also bought this game called ‘Myshuno’. There wasn’t a whole lot of games to choose from, from the catalogue. Mainly 2 player board games and darts pffft, fun. Myshuno was basically the only game for more than 2 players and from the look of it it’s just an alternative version of bingo.
Turned out to be a huge hit with my guests!

While we were playing I caught April’s husband Pheonix perving on me. I brushed it off to begin with. No-one else seemed to notice.

It became a bit hard to ignore when he was near me ALL the time though. I couldn’t get away from him and he kept staring at me. I looked around for April but she had disappeared.

Then wouldn’t you know it! The ‘neighbours’ came to welcome us to the neighbourhood. I completely forgot about that. Dave would have to cook another batch of hotdogs.
At least they would save me from Pheonix.

Nope!
Straight to the bingo game!!
OMG! The didn’t even come over to say hello! Or even ask!!!
Even Pheonix couldn’t believe it. ‘Um, Do you know them’ He asked.

I caught the expression on Dave’s face. I almost spat my drink out trying not to laugh.

I managed to find April. She had gone home! No explanation but I did manage to coax her into coming back. Pheonix left as she arrived. I wonder if there’s trouble with their marriage?

I began to relax and everyone was having a good time. The gate crashes stayed the entire time and Suzanne was in awe of the fruit punch.

So much so that she stopped using the cups provided and went straight for the tap. I wonder if they put the same thing in the punch that they put in the coffee?

Toby spent most of the day doing not much but stand around trying to look pretty I suppose. And what’s this all about??

Trying to tell me it's a Cool party maybe? Or maybe she thinks she's just cool? hahaha

By the end of the day I got almost everyone into the pool. I locked the doors to our house though so I hope no-one pee’d in it.

By the time everyone left there were enough paper cups strewn over the yard to fill 2 garbage bags. Maybe etiquette is something that could be taught in this town. Dave and I spent a whole hour picking them all up.

We did have a great day today but I would have to say I have seen enough fluorescent swimwear to last me a lifetime!
