I still wasn’t sure what to do about Ariel and Rekus. It was playing on my mind as I walked them the few blocks to April’s house. I’ll go straight to work from her house.
I hoped Pheonix wasn’t there or I might blast him for that remark he made to me on the phone last night.
April said he had a new job as a noob in the gaming career and I’m sure she said his hours were 9 to 5.
Oh well if he’s there and wants to start something, Bring it on!

Oh hey, Moody has come to greet me. ‘Hey fella’



April saw me walk up the drive and came outside to greet me.
‘Hi sweetie, I haven’t seen you for a few weeks, was starting to get worried about you’
‘I called last night, didn’t Pheonix tell you?’

Apparently he hadn’t. Maybe he thought I was someone else?

I chatted with April about my dog dilemma. Telling her how I don’t want to take one of them back to that pet store and I’m actually growing quite attached to them now anyway but I did have my heart set on a puppy. So what do I do?



April was kind enough to offer to take one of them off my hands. She loves animals but she already has 2 of her own. I really couldn’t dump another one on her, even if she was trying to convince me otherwise.

We mulled over a few options but in the end I decided we’d just keep things the way they are. At least for now.
The more we talked about the issue the more I realized how silly the whole thing seemed. I had 2 great dogs and puppies grow so quickly that they don’t stay puppies for long anyway.



April laughed at me before rushing off inside suddenly. I thought she must have left something in the oven maybe?
I got up to see what happened when she came back outside holding her stomach.



‘Are you ok’ I rushed towards her.
‘Just a tummy bug I think, I’ll be fine one minute, then the next it just hits me.’
‘You don’t think you could be pregnant?’
April laughed scornfully. ‘Don’t you need to have sex for that to happen’
‘What you and Pheonix don’t..?’
April waved her hand in the air dismissively as if to brush the subject away.
And here I am worried about puppies!



I had to get going to work but I didn’t want to leave her.
‘Are you sure you’ll be ok? I could call in sick.’
‘Don’t be ridiculous, I’m fine. Pheonix will be home in a minute’



I gave April a hug.
‘Ok, well, call me if you need anything’
