All this planning and organizing is taking it’s toll. I’ve been a bit snappy lately and
poor Dave has suffered the brunt end of it.

‘Sounding good babe, Tacos ok for dinner tonight?’
‘yeahhh, haven’t had tacos for ages’
‘ok they’ll be about 20 minutes, I’ll call you when they're ready’



‘hows things going with the wedding plans Em?’
‘pretty good, bit stressful but it’ll all be worth it’
‘you know if you need me for anything…’
‘I know…..everything’s under control, I think’



‘Tomorrow I’m going to the bakery to pick up the cake, I’ve sent the invitations and I’ve written to April but I haven’t heard anything yet…
….ok doggies, I’ll get your dinner now ….can you believe we’re getting married in 2 days’



‘it already feels like we are sometimes with all the ups and down’s we’ve had, you’re not having second thoughts are you?’
‘don’t be silly, I know I’ve been a bit irritable lately and I am sorry’
‘it’s cool, I knew you would be, you worry too much and you really don’t need to’

‘no I got it, it’s probably Jane’



‘Hey Em, just seeing what you’re up to’
‘Hi Jane, not much just about to have a shower and take the dogs for a walk’
‘ok, well I won’t keep you, just wanted to tell you after you left yesterday the guys went for a swim and I came back up to the house. They were taking ages to come back so I went to check on them …’



‘mmm’
‘Anyway they were walking back looking confused, bare chested…’
‘ooh’



‘it was a sight to behold let me tell you’



‘It had started to rain while they were swimming and the tree that was next to our blanket, caught on fire?!”
‘fire?’
‘yeah!’



‘that’s weird’
‘I know!’
‘did they put it out?’
‘they didn’t need to, it went out by itself, with the rain I guess…
….well I’ll let you go now, that’s all I wanted to tell you’

Funny how a person can make me exhausted just by listening to them talk!
