Sorry it's taken me so long - you know what it's like having a toddler in game, they're better behaved but somehow more time consuming

’Does the whole family HAVE to be in the bathroom while I’m showering? Even the dog is watching me can we get him out of here please, it’s slightly off putting’

‘You’re off to work are you…ok I’ll throw my pj’s on and walk you out’

reoww reoow

Looks like the dog is fighting with the strays again.

‘hahaha come and have a look at this, I don’t know what’s going on under that dust cloud but the cat keeps doing 360’s in the air and you gotta see it’s face, it’s the funniest thing I’ve ever seen’

Well , almost time for Keira to go to bed and straight to bed for me too….i’m so buggered lately I think I’ll ask Dave if he will have some time off work to stay home and help out. I don’t know how single mothers do it, although I’m beginning to feel like one with all the hours Dave is at work or sleeping.

‘Keira honey, let go of Pippin now. You don’t want to hurt him’

‘Come on, time for bed. Mummy’s pooped’
I really don’t understand why I’m so exhausted. Keira is so easy to look after. She spends most of her waking hours playing with her toys or finding some way to amuse herself. She never throws tantrums, unless of course she’s tired and she goes straight to sleep without any trouble at all.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

‘Muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuum mumum mumum’

ok ok i'm coming

‘It’s 2 o’clock in the morning Keira I wish you would sleep through the night….you’re wide awake there aren’t you…how about we try you on the potty and then mummy will get you a bottle’

Dum de dum de dum…can’t look at her or she get’s embaressed…how do babies even know that feeling?

This is the reason I’m so tired! Potty training at 2am!
Woops I looked at her again.

Jesus, look at the state of the kitchen! I’ll have the authorities after me if I don’t clean this up soon…I may as well do it now, since I’m up anyway.

‘where’s she gone?? Oh no Keira! Yukky! Yukky darling out of there…come on let’s wash your hands now’

This is killing me…broken sleep, can barely keep my eyes open, it’s almost 3am and I’m washing toilet water off my baby’s hands. I hope she didn’t drink any. Over a year now I’ve been doing this and I’m still not used to it.

I can’t even fathom how women have 5 or 6 kids. I’ve got my hands full with one.

‘ok, can we go back to sleep now?’ I should be thankful I’ve never had any troubles getting her to sleep…she fights it for all of 5 seconds then she’s zonked.

I don’t know why I complain. She’s a good girl and I truly am besotted with her, but I’d be even more besotted if she let me sleep through the night.
