This is a new, improved version of my House of Usher. I removed the old one, because it contained an outdated CEP file. If you downloaded the old one, you do not need to delete the lot. Simply look in your Downloads folder and delete the following file:

d25befbe7c0a847a58bd22f38dab2c21_0001.package

This new lot has been scanned with Clean Installer and contains no hacks.

And now, for the description:

The House of Usher

Need the perfect setting for a horror film? Is black your favorite color? Goth Sims need a place to live? This house is for you!

Gloom on 4 levels:

Creepy basement: Plenty of room for coffins and implements of torture down here.

Main Level: double staircases, kitchen, dining room, bath, large parlor with fireplace, drawing room and study.

Upstairs: 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and little whatever room (torture? Oh, that's in the basement). Contains nursery items at present.

Attic: stairs to roof. Tower area includes window for scaring passersby.

Costs 182,921 Simoleons on a 3x3 lot. If you remove the dead tree on the front left side of the house, you can fit a driveway.

Made possible by the following custom content, for which I am ever so grateful:

Lilibat's Goth Filigree Bedroom Set

Backwards Spiral Staircase by XxHalfBloodPrincexX

Skeleton on the Wall
Skeleton Selection
Grotesque
La Gargouille
Knight on the Tiles
Light Headed
Grave Obelisk
Grave Cross
Tomb
all by that indispensable creator of gloom, Gromit.

Grim Statue by Clockwork JB and Grim Statue Recolors by KendallNightBlade

(Please see Blackkkat13's horror thread)

RGiles' Gothic Crib, Changing Table, Red and Black Bedding and Black Curtains

Wintermute's Magnificently Malevolent Electric Chair

Boblishman's Sliding Bookcase Door

Whew! I think that's everything!

Have fun, tell me if there are any problems, and please leave comments!

It would be great if someone wanted to Sim the characters!
