The Tetris
created by Joanne Blessing (sirbartonslady)
Lot Size: 3x2
Total cost: 52,874 simoleons
Requirements: Sims2, University (recommended, may not be necessary)
Credits: Maxis/EAGames for the game, Nintendo for the inspiration
Furnished: No
Decorated: Barely
Details:
This lot should be free of any hacks and custom content; I scanned it twice with Clean Installer, and no problems cropped up. And when I built the house, I was very careful to avoid any content with the custom content "flower" thingy on it.
I was inspired to build it when I was sketching on a gridpaper pad and started doodling shapes the started looking like Tetris pieces. I got to thinking "Hey, what if I build a Sims2 house of different pieces stacked on top of each other?"
The house features three floors, with a total of twelve rooms (all are 7x7 rooms), four per floor, arranged in the patterns of three of the five shapes in the famous Nintendo Game, TETRIS. The first floor is the "Z" the second floor is the "T" and the top floor is the reversed "L"
This house was entirely made in "Build" mode. I did not bother to step into "Buy" mode for anything other than a decorative piece that I later removed because it just didn't go. Decorating really isn't my forte anyway. Therefore, it is completely unfurnished (the only decorations being the random sprinkling of plants) for two reasons: One, I like unfurnished houses; and two, I got so tired by the time I was done building (the stupid staircases were frustrating as heck!) that I didn't have any patience left to furnish and decorate. So, have at it yourself!
I don't know if University is strictly necessary for this house to work; I don't remember if I used anything from that EP. I don't THINK I used anything from it, but I can't guarantee it. However, I'd strongly recommend you have it if you decide to play this house. Just in case...
Anyway, thanks for browsing! This is my first upload here at MTS, and I'm excited by what I have to show for it. I hope it's good enough to get through the screening process.

Install Instructions
1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
- You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.
