This lot is inspired by the Anne of Green Gables house from the beautiful Japanese Anime series, "Akage no Anne." Given the limited "look" of Maxis' building tools, this is NOT an exact replica by any means; but with the help of some gorgeous custom content from some truly talented creators at this site (and others), I was able to construct a Green Gables for my Sims. I hope all you kindred spirits enjoy it.

Specifics:

3 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom, with front (invisible driveway)
$32,822
Non-furnished
Scanned with Clean Installer (HACK FREE)
All EPs required to run

Custom Content (from MTS2):

Verandah Mesh, Columns, and Front Door Mesh from Darylmarkloc's amazing "Australian Federation Collection" found here. (Must download the Mesh)

Forest Green Recolor of "AFC" Front door and Verandah pieces by nengi65 found here.

Maxis "Lost & Found" Tree: Scotch Pine by Numenor found here.

"Wutherbetten" Siding recolor (Ivy) by Staysee_00 found here.

Invisible Driveway entry by roddyaleixo found here.

Custom Content (from other sites):

Wood Rail recolor (White) by cathy at Aussie Top Enders.

Custom Content (from other sites) NOT included:

Cherry Blossom trees and terrain paint by WindKeeper at "The Sims Resource" found here.

Other Custom Content:

Recolors of Maxis windows, walls and roof all made by myself.

Note:

1. In order to place the verandah pieces you need to use the "Move Objects" cheat.

2. The roof has been recolored by me. As stated in the recolor tutorial, I am stating here that it uses a random GUID. If the roof causes problems for your system, simply replace the roof with Maxis' "Growing Green Slate" default roof. They are pretty much the same; the recolor is just a bit darker, that's all.

3. HUGE thanks to all the creators whose custom content made this lot possible.

4. You may use my recolors so long as you credit me.

5. Comments and thanks much appreciated, of course. Enjoy!
