The Similock Computerized Sewing Machine Station will increase a Sim’s creativity and may be used by children through elders. This Sewing Station has a cutting mat and rotary cutter, a pin cushion, and two folded pieces of cloth ready to sew. Complete with foot pedal! Comes in light and dark wood color sets, or the light, dark and white for the new EP's version. I made this from the Maxis piano and it borrows the animations from there, so you need at least one Expansion Pack (EP) plus the base game for the older upload and the EP's version. The Base Game version works only in the base game. ***NOTICE: It has been confirmed that the EP versions do not work if you have university only. There is now a version that *will* work if you have University only. It does not pay out and will not overwrite anything. It has it's own GUID's and comes in the three color options. It's called "cokenasmileUNIsew.rar" ***

On the original version, a Sim with low creativity looks best at the machine, but the flourishes and right-left reaches of the more skilled Sim’s don’t look too out of place since you would reach left for the piece you are sewing and right to press buttons, stick pins in the cushion, etc. This will appear under Living Room and Misc and under Hobbies. It costs $1500.

On the new "cokenasmilesewingEP" versions (which have different file names and GUID's so they won't overwrite anything), I added a $1000 pay out for each skill point earned on the sewing machine, tweaked the animations so the ones that play are all the low-skill version which I think look best, and improved the shadows. This version comes in white as well as light and dark wood and costs $1550.

The new "cokenasmileSewBase" version is for base game only has a $1000 pay out for each skill point earned on the sewing machine. I tweaked the animations so the ones that play are all the low-skill version which I think look best, and improved the shadows. This version costs $850. The light and dark versions of it have different GUID's for technical reasons.

I changed the pie menu for this item to allow your Sim to “Sew”. I also disabled the piano music so you won’t hear that during the animations.  I was NOT able to take out the pie menu option of “Perform/Jazz/Rock/Country”, but if you choose them, they fade away (your Sim would rather sew anyway). So, the sewing machine does not play music, but any piano’s you have will still be just fine and play as normal. Please let me know if you find otherwise.

Maxis piano had: 3210 faces and 4220 vertices
Sew Station has: 2780 faces and 2702 vertices
New EP version : 2754 faces and 2676 vertices
New Base version: 2754 faces and 2690 vertices

***DO NOT upload to any paysite or anything like a paysite. My work is to stay on MTS2. Period. DO NOT recolor or clone without my permission. I worked hard on this and would want any recolors or inclusions in other items to be by my permission and with credit and a link here for the mesh.***
