Woo Hoo! My first venture into mesh altering!
Okay, okay. It's nothing to get too thrilled about. I ended up modding a University Mesh (the hippie outfit) to suit my needs for the upcoming NHL jersey sets. The key differences are:
*Noticably bigger sleeves that taper off near the cuff.
*True V-neck sports collar
*Big, chucky sneakers (like the university football mesh)
I've also added a "starter" recolour of the mesh, that being a MTS2 Charity Hockey jersey. Nothing too fancy, but gives you all an idea of what the jersey looks like in-game plus serves as an homage to this great site.
Many thanks to the awesome tutorials by tiggerypum and HystericalParoxysm. Couldn't have and wouldn't have been attempted without them.
Stay tuned for the NHL divisions in the coming weeks.
Polygon Counts:
Body - FaceCount - 1998
Body - VertexCount - 1425
Body Alpha - FaceCount - 72
Body Alpha -Vertex Count - 144
Additional Credits:
Created with the use of Milkshape 3D, UniMesh Plugin, SimPE and good ole trusty Photoshop CS2.
EDIT: While working on the NHL sets I noticed a oddity with the sleeves texture mapping. Numbers and Logos were looking awful so I tweaked the texture map and have uploaded the new mesh file. Same name as the the old one so just overwrite the original (if you downloaded it already) or just download and use the updated mesh (if this is your first time downloading it). Sorry for the inconvenience, folks. Part of the growing pains of messing with meshes.
EDIT - March 21st 2007: Okay... that should be the final update for that mesh. I'm cursed with being a perfectionist so of course I found yet another texture map problem that I had to resolve. I know it's a pain to keep downloading the same thing but the good news is that the first batch of NHL jerseys will look hot as result of it so please please please re-download and overwrite the old one.
EDIT - April 1st 2007: Fixed the fat Mesh! Thanks to the extensive work I did on the female hockey mesh, I was able to get all the texture bugs out of this mesh so this should be the last update of the mesh. Just re-download and overwrite the old one. Thanks
PLEASE do not redistribute without giving credit sYn28 (or NASS) and absolutely do not post anything I make on the Sims 2 Exchange or any paysite.

This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below for more information.

Update
Yeah I know it's been a while and yes I know I said I was back when it reality I wasn't truly. Let's just say I had a move to the arctic that kind of put creation on hold. Also when I had first entertained the prospect of adding new designs to the Sims 3 it was a relatively new process at the time with not much in terms of tutorials. Now , my goodness, there are tons. While I don't envision delving into meshing until I learn more, I think I got the skinning down to a science finally. With that said I'd like to debut some CFL jerseys (for a change) as my reintroduction back into designing.
I have a problem though.
I don't admittedly don't know much about the players in the CFL so if anyone could help me out that'd be swell.
I'm looking for suggestions. x2 players from each of the eight teams.
People willing to assist will be granted exclusive tester access to the designs. I figure if you're jazzed about letting me know who's jersey to make you'd be equally as stoked to test it in game first. Credits will be paid to you when the designs are finally uploaded.
Help me make your sporting experience that much better!
