The Story of the Subterranean Villa
The Plausible Chronological History of Events

On this land lay a hill, and on this hill was a shack. In the shack hidden by floorboards is a rickety latter to the long forgotten tomb of an Egyptian Priest whose name roughly translated to “ghost herder”. The shack and the hill lay largely undisturbed for a long time.

Until the Crusaders came and had a small keep built on the hill. It appears they left the shack alone. In a logbook from the keep commander, which was left behind, there are passages that make reference to a “haunted shack” and “evil beneath it”. And another passage, which indicates, “those who entered the shack died of an unknown otherworldly illness”. So he was reluctant to have anyone investigate the shack, and left it alone.

After the crusades the keep fell into disrepair, and the shack was replaced at some point between now and then. Centuries later an archeologist studying the crusades happened upon a note from commander to a general which requested more troops to the hill keep in Egypt, because an illness has made many sick, and many dead. The Archeologist found the ruins of the keep, and after reading a few excerpts from the commander’s logbook. He decided to investigate and find this “Haunted Shack” with “Evil Beneath it”. What he found was a decrepit shack with an opening under the floor. When he entered the opening he found an intact tomb still sealed by the original seal. The tomb was opened and the objects contained there were carefully removed and placed in museum in Cairo.

Later, the land with the tomb and the remains of the keep was sold to an architect who made the lot, as it is seen today. He repurposed the remains of the keep into a three-car garage and a retaining wall around the hill to prevent erosion. And he built a shed to cover the entrance to the tomb. And he built his house and swimming pool in a way that would not aggravate the tomb and the garage that was built into part of the keep remains.

The lot contains an elevated yard, an Egyptian-style tomb, a three-car garage, and a two-story house with basement. The elevated yard is surrounded by a retaining wall, and contains: a pool, a spa, and a shed. The Tomb contains: thirty-five 3x2 rooms with secret doors, two 3x4 rooms with secret doors and 2 larger rooms without entry doors. The three-car Garage has roof access with an awning, and the roof has access to a balcony over the driveways. The Basement level of the house contains: five 5x4 rooms, four 3x4 rooms, and one 4x5 sitting area. The Ground level of the house contains: one 12x10 great hall with a view of the sitting area below, one 13x10 multipurpose or great room, and one 14x7 room with a dividing wall that is open on either side to divide the room into a 6x7 kitchen and a 8x7 dining room. The Upper level of the house contains: hallway access to large balcony, one 6x5 room with access to small balcony, two roughly 3x5 rooms, and two 6x7 rooms.
