**Note: This download seems to require the below EPs. If you do not have Seasons or Bon Voyage, you'll be missing a 2 floors. You might be able to run this without Free Time if you have one of the other more recent EPs but I can't test all the different combos at this point in time. If you want this lot in your but aren't sure if you have all of the necessary EPs, just download it and install it with clean installer. If the lot loads, you might be missing superficial things, but it will be fine. It if doesn't load, then I'm sorry. **

Pubs were a vital part of life in Victorian London. At the corner pub, one could get a healthy pint of beer, some daily victuals, and of course a little ribald entertainment. The pub was the birthplace of the drinking song, and of course, a place to unwind in the days before computers.

The Smoking Llama is a Victorian pub tailored precisely to the tastes of any self-respecting Victorian sim. Complete with horseshoe bar, quirky knickknacks, and strong period decor, your sim Londoners will feel right at home at this classy corner pub.

For those interested in getting smashed, step in off the cold streets to the warm, cozy, street-level bar.

Need a little more than juice for your belly? The second floor holds a charming restuarant where your sim might be able to order up a steaming hot pot pie, or, if they have slightly more coinage available for non-mystery meats, some lamb chops, broiled beef, or ham. And of course no pub menu would be complete without bangers and mash, or fried eggs.

Need to clear your mind even further and fly away to an exotic distant land? Join some of the greats such as Lewis Carroll and Charles Dickens on the third floor - where sims can enjoy a giggling round of "bubbles" or a hand of cards. If too much bubble blowing makes you feel a little light headed, there are plenty of cushions and chaise-lounges to collapse onto. The oriental decor will make sims feel as if they have travelled to Marrakesh, Bombay or Hong Kong all rolled into one (because to the Victorians, "Oriental" encompassed places as vastly differently as all of those).

Installation instructions

Download rar file and unzip. Place the items in the folder labelled MUSIQUEFILLE The Smoking Llama Recolors into your Downloads folder. Install the lot package, preferably using Clean Installer.

Even if you do not have the listed Expansion packs, you can still try to install this lot and see if it works. Installing with Clean Installer should also help.

Suggestions for playing this lot

Lock the door to the kitchen to keep uncontrolled sims from wandering in and around the bar.

You can also lock the door on the third floor to keep the Bubble room more private. I didn't add a ticket machine, but a payable door or the ticket machine might be advisable if you want to profit from the time sims spend up there.

If you plan on playing this lot unowned, you might want to use the NPC clothes changer from SimWardrobe to make your bartenders and waiters look a little more Victorian.

Note: This lot has been playtested and cleaned.

Some things on this lot were changed after pictures were taken in order to make it more playable and fun for your sims.

The BV Grand Piano was removed due to glitches that showed up in testing, in which the player would be stuck and unable to move. Apparently this is a widespread EAxis glitch, and I did not find a fix. In order to get around this, I changed the piano to the regular old upright, which is probably more Victorian and pub-related anyway.

I also added a dartboard to the first floor (what was I thinking? a pub without a dartboard?!), and a poker table to the third floor.

A second staircase was added between the first and second floors to ease the kitchen traffic.

The ceiling tiles are not included with this lot. You can find them here:
