Updated April 23, 2009 - Sorry one more update to add an option to animate the tube without a toddled in it. I also found I'd made a mistake in the base game version.
Updated April 22, 2009 - Both versions now have an animated swim tube. I've also made several coding changes to both versions make the items work better. Please redownload and delete you old mesh files. There were no changes made to the recolor files so it is not necessary to redownload those.
Updated January 14, 2009 - Added Free Time Version to allow toddler to gain a small amount of enthusiasm for fitness, they will also gain actual fitness while playing in the tube.
Don't you just hate how EA left the toddlers out of so many activities? With this Swim Tube they can now enjoy the pool! Finally!
It has taken me quite sometime to get working, but it's pretty close to what Dragon_Slave and I wanted. My friend Dragon_Slave, requested this swim tube and came up with the idea to clone the highchair, we both had our doubts as to whether it would work or not. I tried a couple of other options but I did find the highchair worked the best.
Thanks Dragon_Slave for this great idea and all her help!
The toddler animations are my manual edit to the puddle splash for the arm movements, facial expressions, and effects, with some tweaking. The leg movements are from the idle in highchair animations. Thanks to Wes for his great plugins.
I tired to create my own animations, but the toddler legs just do not work good at all using MilkShape. Personally I think the toddler leg amimations are the hardest to get, they look great in MilkShape, but do 360° flips in game. I think mainly because I have so much trouble figuring out the stack item, it's something that really difficult for me to grasp, for some reason. I finally gave up on that idea. If anyone knows of a good tutorial explaining the stack items please let me know. I have read Echo's which is very good but I still don't quite get it, for multiple stack items.
Toddlers gain fun and body skills. It is found with Toddler Items (general/child) for $10.
Important:
You must place the swim tube in a tile at the very edge of the pool in order for adults to drop the toddler in it.

I've included a few recolors in the second file.
Enjoy!

Note: I have tested this with only base game installed and adults do not place the infants in the tube. I'm not sure what EP you might need to place Toddlers in, I'm thinking maybe Seasons because the pool walls changed with that EP. The tube can however be placed in the pool for decoration with the base game.

This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below for more information.

About Me
Not finding something you know I created? Please check www.affinitysims.com, I am working to have all of my creations posted on that site. I do not want to waste space at MTS2 for items that do not have star quality.
I personally don't agree with personal policies and would very much like to see all policies be controlled by the board that items are posted on. It would make life so much easier for everyone. It would also eliminate the selfish/self center creators that have done so much harm to this caring and sharing community. Not one creator that I know of is able to do these things without the help of Maxis, Simpe, SimPE plugins, CEP and all the great tutorials available.
Just in case someone wants to know my feelings on it...it is as follows:
You may use my creations freely. The only request I have is that you do not claim them as your own and PLEASE do not post on pay sites.
You may include them with you lot creations if you so desire. :)
All items are created with Maxis code, and SimPE according to the terms of use Maxis owns all rights to this code.
Most of my meshes come from remeshing maxis items or can be found in the 3d mesh of unknown authors. If you wish to remesh any of my meshes you are free to do so. You may also include them with your recolors.
I do this strickly for fun. If you find anything wrong with my creations please let me know and I'll fix them if I capable of doing so or will at least post the problems found. I don't want to post junk!
