I recently returned from a trip to Los Angeles, which inspired this kind-of-kitschy ca. 1950s California apartment building. I wanted a small lot with not-too-many apartments so I could playtest AL.

There are 3 apartments, one each on each floor.

The ground floor has the largest apartment, with 2 bedrooms on the 1st floor and a master bedroom suite on the 2nd floor with its own balcony and bathroom for total of 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It rents for §3,829.

The second floor has a medium-sized apartment with 2 bedrooms, one large enough for a double bed, and one bathroom. It rents for §2,112.

The third floor is a very small apartment with one bedroom and one bathroom, but it has a large balcony for your Sim's "stuff." It rents for §2,026.

Fully furnished and playtested. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you have the IKEA SP for this one, because much of the furniture came from IKEA. Hey, it's California, right?

Custom content includes Senesi's little tiny lights, which are almost impossible to live without.

The common areas also include a pool, a hot tub, a grill, and a bar in addition to the grand piano in the lobby and the exercise balcony on the third floor. I have to admit I was designing this to play some single Sims but I also made sure the ground floor apartment could accommodate a family nicely.

Lot Size: 2x3
Lot Price: §2,026 - §3,829

Custom Content Included:

Thanks to the Sims2Wiki for the Apartment Building tutorial; there are, as always with EAxis, several little "tricks" that no one would ever know.

I also suggest Lord Darcy's Higher Comfort and Energy for Maxis Beds, since it gives you a lot more options for comfort on a budget... just like IKEA!
