I created this in Numenor's Any Game Starter with University, Nightlife, Open for Business and Seasons. Apparently it is not necessary to mark University as being a required expansion pack and will work without it, but if you do not have University and you download the furnished version you will be missing the Pool Table that is shown in the pictures. It is also advised to use the CleanInstaller to install this lot if you do not have University installed. I cannot think of anything else I used that was from University though, so that should be the only thing missing.

I am also including an unfurnished version of this house because many people have downloaded the unfurnished version of my last house so I felt it was something people may want. I have put the plumbing, kitchen counters and appliances, the smoke and burglar alarms and the fireplace back into the unfurnished version. I have also put the plants which are in front of the windows in the kitchen in the basement back in because otherwise it might be hard to tell what was intended to be placed there. The price of the unfurnished version is $138,703.

For anyone who downloads either version, if you try to put something on a foundation wall in the basement, you must first turn the move objects cheat on or you will not be able to get it to "stick." That's normal for foundation walls and I don't know of any way to get around it.

Once again, I have made this house using only game objects, no custom content. Although in my own game, I use the invisible driveway created by roddyaleixo which you can find here:

That way I can cover the driveway with the same stone flooring I used for the walkway. It's not necessary, but I feel it looks better. I started with a large lot because I was trying to get the feel of a house that sits in the forest with a lot of land around it. That is also why I didn't level the lot because I wanted it to have a more natural feel. Thanks to the wonderful tutorials made by Plasticbox, I was finally able to manage to create a "daylight" basement. I have been trying to create one for a couple of years but was never successful until now. I find it is much easier on a hilly lot!

The daylight basement includes a main living/dining area, kitchen, guest bath and master suite with private bath. It has it's own front and back doors and patio as well. The ground floor has living room, kitchen/dining, den, rec area, guest bath and a second master suite which also has it's own private bath. Upstairs, there are three ensuite bedrooms for single sims and another recreation area.

Outside you will find a pond, pool and patio along with a one car garage with attached carport. You can actually put up to four cars and they will all work, although it seems funny to me that a car sitting in the garage or carport can still exit without the cars in the driveway having to be moved out of the way first, but that's just how the game works, lol!

I have play-tested this house for several game days now. I created a set of grandparents, parents and three kids and moved them in. I really enjoy playing this house myself and I hope others might like it too.

If you would like to learn how to make a house like this yourself, I found this tutorial very helpful:
