This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
Are your sims sick and tired of having to wear shades when relaxing in the cool shade of their porch? Do passers-by looking at them sipping their lemonade creep them out? Well, MaryEllen and MarySue said "Yes!" to both of those questions and started stompy-feeting again.

First I tried talking them into recolors of an existing blind. But noooo. Those weren't good enough. They wanted variety! So variety is exactly what they got. Variety you ask? Yes- variety:

There are 6 blinds in varying lengths- from all the way rolled down to all the way rolled up. Like I said, variety. If you look closely, you might notice that the rolled up part got in on the "variety party" too. The size changes for that extra little touch of realism.

Since I forgot to put the swatch in the download (MaryEllen and MarySue will never forgive me for that), here's proof that there's plenty of variety in the textures too:

Now- some things you need to know:
*These are slaved. MLC BambooBlind is the master and you need that file for the others to work in your game.
*Since they were cloned from curtains, they act like curtains. No cheats are needed to place on walls or over windows and they will go down with the walls.
*That said, if you want to use them like I have in the porch screenshots, you WILL need to use "moveobjects on" to place them.
*They are seamless and positioned just under the ceiling. So there are no gaps between 2 blinds and if you play with ceilings on (or use custom ceilings), they won't get eaten by the ceiling.
*If you can shift objects, you can shift these. They can also be used with the quarter tile cheat.
*Even though these were made to use outside like I have, they will work inside just fine. However, some windows might stick through the blinds a bit. For best results, use windows with thinner frames.
*There are 2 recolorable subsets- the blind and the top "frame" & cord. Each blind texture has a different "frame" texture for plenty of mix-n-match possibilities.
*There are NO diagonals for these and I really don't plan to make them. Sorry.

Little fiddly thing you might want to know:
Since these are seamless (as in exactly 1 tile wide), the ends will stick out when you use these on a porch (or anywhere NOT a wall. They won't stick through walls). You can fix that by using "boolprop snapobjectstogrid false":

That should be it. Now I must go- the Marys have work for me.

Note about polycount: Maxis curtains range from 572 to 1362 or higher. So these are well within acceptable polycount limits.

Polygon Counts:
Master - 754
Short - 762
Shorter - 754
Rolled Up - 674
Longest - 766
Unrolled - 556
