Another upload the Marys had nothing to do with. That's only because they didn't exist a year ago. Wait! I made this set a year ago and I'm just now uploading it? Well, yes and no. It's true that I made the majority of this set a year ago BUT I've since revisited it and made it even better! (If you do have last year's set, see the cute little spoiler at the end of this post for more information.)

This is a set of inset wall niches. They sit in the wall (and are, in fact, windows that don't let light in) and with the addition of a handy-dandy shelf you can put things in them. To pretty things up some, there are also 2 different frames that you can put over them. The frames are 100% optional, you don't have to use them. The niches will work and look just fine without them. The only reason they exist is that I read too much and saw a picture of, you guessed it, a framed niche.

What you get:
6 niches: a triple niche, 2 double niches and 3 single niches (top, middle and bottom). Since you can't put more than 1 window on a tile this was the best way to get all the combinations I could think of.
3 single shelves in 2 different heights. Each shelf has 5 slots.
3 thick frames in 3 different heights.
3 thin frames in 3 different heights.

Recolors are included for all in: Apartment Life Medium wood, Apartment Life Dark wood, Maxis Black, White and Cherry, and 2 planked woods I just love in Grey and Brown. There are also invisible recolors included for the metal bars on the frames.

Important stuff to know:
There are multiple MASTER files in this set. For the niches, it's the triple niche. For the shelves, it's the top shelf. For the thick frames, it's the top frame and for the thin frames, it's the top frame. So you must have those 4 files in your game for the others to work!
The niches and frames all have 2 subsets.
The shelves and the frames will shift if you have Apartment Life but there is no need for them to shift. They're all positioned to fit right where they need to go.
That said- you do need all of the shelf and frame meshes since they won't line up properly if you shift them.
ALL meshes will keep buying to make it easier to place more than one at a time.
NO cheats are needed to place any of the meshes. You can layer the frames for different looks, too. (See screenshots for an example or two.)
The shelves all have 5 slots. You have to fill all the slots of one shelf before you can start on another one. This is because the shelves are all separate meshes so you have to fill one shelf's slots before you can do the next.

Not convinced yet? Have another picture!
